For those wondering..
A temperance bar, also known as an alcohol-free bar, sober bar, or dry bar, is a type of bar that does not serve alcoholic beverages.
Anyone aware of any Temperance bars in Phnum Penh - or is the notion laughable?
I've not had a beer for over 3 years now so going into bars surroinded by oafish baffoons is tiresome.
Is there any temperance bars in Phnum Penh

Yes, they are in the same street as the chastity brothels.

Do you mean like a cafe? Plenty of those, as well as bubble tea joints..........

What are you talking about you silly silly man.
I didn't say everyone that goes to bars is an offish buffoon.. I said it was tiresome going to bars surrounded by them.
However, thankfully I've never been any establishment frequented by you or your ilk so reserve judgement on whether you are offish, tiresome a buffoon or just a massive spunktrumpet

No, they are quite different.
The expectation of a coffee shop is to be quiet.. dry bars (or the ones I visited last year when in the US) were the same as any bar in the world.. but without alcohol being sold.
Sodas, Seltzers, 0% beers and spirits.. (yes, they exisit)
The atmosphere was great without some beery yahoo breathing down your neck or some pasty wine drinker boring you to tears.

Dry January, Sober for October, I bet the poster is looking forward to May….
I find bars pretty unsociable in PP. If I say hello to the guy next to me he usually tells me hes just come for a drink and doesnt want to talk to anybody. Maybe its just me. Was a time when there were women in the bars here and they were sometimes friendly.
Lately there has been a lot of shit coming from the USA: BLM, woke left, a geriatric President, and now dry bars. Just keep all that shit over there.
Are you a snowflake or an old fart? A bar should have alcohol, some good looking girls, decent blokes to talk to or argue with (which might end up in some fist fights in some nights).
Here a coffee shop might suit you. There aren't quiet since cellphones and laptops were allowed in...

I think they all mean to say no there isn’t. Doubt there is enough money in it.
Personally stopping drinking myself also. Not an alcoholic but have found it makes me depressed and sometimes act a twat when I’ve had too much. I always liked the bars in pp when I was there but being around alcohol does make me think hmmmm that looks nice.

Terrible fucking idea. Do they spend the first half of the next day's elderflower session talking about how many they didn't have last night?
