"At 10:30 a.m. on August 9, 2021, a foreigner named Tony came to sit in the restaurant next to the restaurant," she (a staff) said. "After ordering a bottle of water and a pizza, I saw the foreigner sitting on the table with one hand down and a snoring sound, and I walked over to check and shook him. His condition is getting colder.
Witnesses said that at that time, I helped to make a rescue operation, with the suspicion that he had low blood sugar, I mixed honey with plain water and poured water through a pipe into the victim's mouth. Suddenly, the victim regained some consciousness and I advised him to go to the doctor, but he refused to go, asking me to help when he called a tricycle to take him home, and we helped. When he came to sit in the outside seat to wait for the tricycle to call. After sitting for a while, he suddenly lost consciousness, and then I reported to the local authorities".
After the situation arose, the specialized police force of Khan and Post came to control the scene and reported to the Deputy Prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court and cooperated with the Technical Office of the Police, the Office of Serious Crimes, the Office of Investigation and the implementation of the work plan. Immigrants and doctors accompany the Phnom Penh Municipal Court to establish an autopsy committee to examine the body and the scene.
Dr. Nong Sovannaroth, Phnom Penh Medical Examiner and Police, Phnom Penh Medical Science and Technology, confirmed that he "died of a heart attack caused by the use of morphine. Urine from the body was tested positive for morphine."
Probably OTC meds.

Any idea how old he was? Considering I knew him 15 years ago I would guess he was around 70?
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

I'm no doctor, but I know morphine is used as a painkiller in medical treatments worldwide. My father who I have never in my life seen so much as drinking a beer was very ill and was put on it for quite a while. It was very strange talking to him at that time (trippy stuff!) but he recovered since. The presence of a substance does not necessarily indicate that it caused death. Anyway, enough of my foreigner logic. Tony was a good guy and had a good innings.Dr. Nong Sovannaroth, Phnom Penh Medical Examiner and Police, Phnom Penh Medical Science and Technology, confirmed that he "died of a heart attack caused by the use of morphine. I hope he paid for his drink and pizza first.... next Larry's will be asking for up front payments from the older generation customers!

I have known Tony for a long time and he was not a drug user. There could be many reasons he could have tested for morphine, but he was in no way shape or form a user of recreational drugs. RIP
Of course he wasn't. Just liked a beer/wine/whiskey or six like most people.

Wasn't his death reported over on the other forum years ago?
Gonk manipulating the post dates again? God I hope not or he might make another video. Nothing worse than a middle aged man thinking he's still "young".lxk wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:35 amWasn't his death reported over on the other forum years ago?

"Goodness me! Now STD free..."
No he isn't manipulating anything. CEO mistakenly reported on his death a few years ago but don't mention that on CEO they don't like it!
I know a bloke here died in a restaurant. Choked on a bit of steak. He was over 70 and still working, a tough little bugger.
I would rather die in a bar in Phnom Penh if given a choice.
