It takes all of 10 sec to find it on twitter using his name...........Hello John wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 3:21 pmGot a link to his twitter?
Humphrey?
Yes he has two twitter accounts. One disappeared for a long time but was then recovered. Baiting the lawyer whom threatens a summary judgement. Courts don"t like summary judgments.they prefer justice to be seen to be done. Have demanded that Australia Post be used not email. He continues to email and is ignored. The man with no assets has all the power.
A bailiff said the other day that Cazalys has been more popular since the bombshell front page. he has been hoping to get lucky with the hookers but nothing yet. Recent changes to defamation law mean that the plaintiff must demonstrate damage. Seems to be none so far.
Other fight going well, we meet the Minister on wednesday after twisting her arm and giving her no option.
Meanwhile the wicked witch has some explaining to do to PoliceChild Protection after her drug dealing limo riding hooker gang attempted to groom her 15 years old daughter on saturday night. Inviting a child to a hotel room with plenty of food and drink is a criminal offence. This town has a serious underbelly of organised crime. Good old kensvay has 2500 followers on twitter.

Ken you clearly don’t understand the issues. You are not being sued by Cazalys, which means the ‘serious harm’ requirement of a defamation case don’t apply to them.Bruce Highway wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 3:47 pm

You are being sued by the manager and all he has to show is that serious harm has been caused to his reputation.
Here is what Corrs, one of the largest law firms and a litigation specialist wrote about the new requirement:
“For harm to be serious, published material must carry more than a ‘tendency’ to harm a plaintiff’s reputation. The plaintiff must prove that serious harm has been caused, or is likely to be caused to their reputation ‘as a fact on the balance of probabilities’.
When determining serious harm, the Court can consider more than ‘the defamatory meaning of the words’. It can look at ‘all relevant circumstances’, such as ‘evidence of what actually happened after publication’.
Where a statement has a strong defamatory imputation and it has been shared with a wide readership or audience, it may be possible to deduce that serious harm has occurred on an ‘inferential’ basis.”
It seems to me that your emails to various MPs are likely to cause serious harm to Mr Wales, and the fact Cazalys isgetting an uptick in business as a result of the publicity is totally irrelevant to the case.
You really need a lawyer but of course you’re too stubborn to be told to do what is clearly in your best interests.
Quite surprised he's only 71, he seemed older than that and also fairly scatty the better part of 11 years ago
He still thought the sun shone out of his arse back then too
Anyhow what a terrible situation for his wife and kids to be in, hopefully there's a solid resolution at the end of all of this

In all honesty - he looks increasingly senile to me. His last tweet about the case has him boasting that he is ignoring any emails from the other side’s lawyers, which is a strategy doomed to failure when it comes to court.
But the saddest thing is seeing the literally hundred or so tweets he makes every day on his two accounts. He latches on to every discussion, comments and then silence - no response from anyone.
It reminds me of the senile old fool in the bar who tries desperately to join every conversation, but that everyone ignores in embarassed silence.

That’s a sad update. Ageing is awful to witness, especially witnessing them being alone, and lonely. It saddens me no matter who they are

Yes he's fine. Totally ignoring the Cazalys crap except for putting in a sly dig now and again. I have put it in the hands of the Attorney General. The Regulator is corrupted and the industry shocking. A story the other day of a man who had 50 beers at Gilligans, fell over, in a coma, died.
We didn't serve him they said.
Our anti juvenile crime thing is going great. The big stunt last week with the burnt out car on a trailer being towed around town with the big heads of the four local MPs hanging out the windows like car thieves.
The government hated it. All over the paper and Channel 7 News.
Go to Changing Cairns Crime Problems and see the photos. My idea was a winner.
My partner in crime Perry addressed a bunch of oldies yesterday about crime. She called me and said, you are not old. YesI know Perry. Two young kids, a sports car and a fertile mind.
There are plenty of us who will never grow old.
Mum hasn't changed, just closer to death's door. The kids don't care at all, they are receiving counselling now.
