£1,000 needed to fly elderly toothless golden retriever from Cambodia to the UK

What the hell is up with these pet owners not having any money? I loaned two hundred bucks to the son a crazy pet owner and like his mother, he has no ability to manage his money. He at least spends all of his money on his family so I don't really mind that he is never going to pay me back. He has had to loan money to his mother. She has like six cats and five dogs.
Pets are a luxury. Don't buy one until you can afford to pay for a decent house in cash.

I love dogs and cats but I wouldn’t even bother with a sick or old dog, or any dog, in another country and definitely wouldn’t bother sending it back to the UK (because it’s cooler!) AND ask other people to pay for it.
Why do people travel and live in Cambodia and get the same baggage they had at home?

pew, pew, pew, pew!
It's possibly a scam, more like a golden egg retriever.
Seems wasteful but if idiots want to donate money for the old dog that's on them

I would rather donate to a sick toothless old dog than some sick toothless expat who didn't have insurance to be fairYaTingPom wrote: ↑Wed May 25, 2022 12:44 pmI love dogs and cats but I wouldn’t even bother with a sick or old dog, or any dog, in another country and definitely wouldn’t bother sending it back to the UK (because it’s cooler!) (I’m not sick)

I can see why it's so expensive if Heathrow charge £350 to carry the crate from the plane to the carpark.
What happened with the stray kitten that somebody wanted $2000 crowdfunded for?

Only the one pet? I'm impressed most of the chicks in Siem Reap have at least 10 dogs & 12 cats.
