Khmer440 is closing down
Seems a shame that all the scumbags, especially that got the gavin mac treatment will be less findable if this site goes under.
Been here since 2007 in various guises, some funny guys. some informative shit, shame.

What's the url of your closed forum ?scoffer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 5:32 pmWho knows what will happens to the forum ?
It contains a wealth of knowledge and experiences that remain relevant and it would be a shame for it to just disappear.
A few years back another Cambodian forum that was being closed was gifted to me,
It contained a large amount of information on topics of interest to me and other members that I did not wish to see disappear
It costs me less than $100 a year for hosting, registration etc,to keep the information available.
So I hope that Alexandra does something simular k440

Holy fxck the amount of adds here now. Between each message and swiping up from the bottom. I don't know if the target audience here would like it, but good luck with that.

Google Ads seems to have gone a bit haywire, but nothing so terrible on a PC. Is viewing from mobiles a problem?
No
And it's nothing compared to YouTube and many other sites where ads are becoming a real nuisance

On mobiles there were a few drop down ads for a few days that were quite intrusive, but that seems to have calmed down.
I suspect it’s related to where you view from though.
Generally not a problem.

There’s an obvious increase in ads viewing on a mobile phone but still readable (and my phone doesn’t have a lot of real estate)
The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.
