Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on selling goods with VAT invoices that were purchased without VAT. Is this possible and would it cause any issues with the GDT?
TIA

Why would you think that you would have issues with the Tax Department for committing Tax Fraud ...
"We, the sons of John Company, have arrived"
You simply can't offset any of your VAT collected with any VAT paid, since you paid none.

If I had a complex tax issue in a country where the rule of law is so arbitrary, the first thing I would do is get proper advice from an accountant.
The last thing I would do is ask a bunch of sneering expats who likely haven’t paid tax in years for advice.
But that’s just me.

I don’t understand smelly fart’s annoyance.
Surely if you want tax advice you ask a tax expert not a bunch of random strangers on the internet, none of whom have any interest or fiduciary obligation to provide accurate answers, even if they knew what the fuck they were talking about.
Shit’s too serious.

I tend not to get annoyed by anonymous internet nonsense.
I’m far from annoyed. Very far, so far, bigly far. Probably the farthest from being annoyed since Abraham Lincoln. Nobody really can understand how far from annoyed I actually am.
I simply replied to your haughty attempt at denigrating the good folks of K440 whom I am sure have much more experience than you imply.

It really depends on the type of goods, also your taxpayer type; s/m/l.The thirsty traveler wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 8:58 amHi, I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on selling goods with VAT invoices that were purchased without VAT. Need more information.
It should not be a problem for the buyer, it's a problem for the seller. If the seller is a registered business then the authorities may pursue them separately. If the seller is an individual, then i guess the trail goes cold.
