Hi Estuary, I saw all your adverts on every thread in this forum so I figure you must be legit. My old hangout in Snooky had to close temporarily so I wondered if you had any shuffleboard or smack at your place? That would be totally happi.

Hey rob
Dont know shuffle board is mate ?

Shuffleboards are great fun but sadly they have a bad reputation in Cambodia for attracting junky low life alleged murder conspirators who blame everything on black people even though they probably did it type of people.
Great wrist exercise though!

Good one rob.
Despite the directions I still dont think that I can find the estuary place. There are sandy tracks everywhere down there.

There are signs up from half way down otres where they cleared the bars last year!!
It's definately legit, and it's not that hard to find.
8 of us are heading there in a couple of weeks time

That fish looks very much like a 'Mangrove Jack'. How often do you catch them that size and what do you use to catch them with, lures or bait.?

This building is nothing to do with Otres beach, its in the Otres area but set back from the beach. Its about 400-600 meters inland tucked away nicely with a fresh water pond/lake next to it with snake heads and siamease carp in.
As for the fish, thats was the first fish caught from the veranders. The builders thought I was crazy using a plastic fish (lure) but 5 casts in and hey presto we have a fish the red one. Thought its was a red snapper but not to up on local fish. Theres plenty of fish in there. I threw some chunks of bread out and all the small fish were making a commosion over it, then this big dark object came to the surface. Ran to get the rod but by the time i got back it had gone again. Theres also archer fish in there (shoots a squirt of water at insects) seen a couple of puffer fish . Can you get sea trout around here or dace? As theres a group what swims in the shallows.

Hooli doolie is that a mangrove jack?
I have been advocating casting lures into khmer creeks for years seeking barra and mangrove jack-I have cast lures hopefully into that estuary and got nothing.
I am down on tuesday, please put the signs up again.
I know the beach and estuary quite well but I cannot find you.
PS-khmers completely ignorant about fishing with lures!!!!!!
