Guesthouses for $150/ month in or near Riverside

I've been staying in "boutique hostels".

Dorming it up.

Now want to have a bit of privacy.

Any recommendations for room with wifi, AC, hot shower ... access to a fridge :)

I had a look at the Royal but it wasn't my cup of tea.

It's the new in-thing.

They're usually part hotel and part hostel. I guess they're spreading their bets.

Some good deals - $5-7 a night, with a pool.

Strangers' farts come as complimentary.

I just walked by a "room for rent $120" sign at the Riverside end of 172. Looked like a small GH. No visible name.
