Weird shit on the roads
My wife said the red plate is just for RHD cars. Maybe a warning to other drivers but I doubt that car would need any warning with a grill like that!
pew, pew, pew, pew!
From memory, these are Toyotas with an Austinesque body shell. The Japanese love the 'prow' of the Austin/Wolseley 1300 body so much, they stylised it for their cars.YaTingPom wrote: ...

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Not quite, it's a Nissan March (Micra in UK).kinard wrote:From memory, these are Toyotas with an Austinesque body shell. The Japanese love the 'prow' of the Austin/Wolseley 1300 body so much, they stylised it for their cars.YaTingPom wrote: ...

Talking about all the weird shit on the roads, I've always wondered what the fuck are all the shoes about?

Mam? There used to be these really flashily dressed guys selling that. It's a sort of mix of pickled papaya and fish. I haven't had any in ages but I like it.

They were 4 or 5 brothers AFAIK, they have all grown up and list the mohawks, but they are still around..Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2020 12:57 amMam? I’d hazard a guess at a catalogue of motorbike road traffic accidents every night that don’t quite get cleaned up properly. Traffic after dark, particularly after Samnang’s booze has kicked in is quite a thing.kungfufighter wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2020 9:26 pmTalking about all the weird shit on the roads, I've always wondered what the fuck are all the shoes about?

Interesting theory. Let me rephrase that question: why are all the shoes on the road not cleared? It seems like they actually avoid cleaning them away, as the only thing I see littering the roads are shoes and rocks. Is it a kind of Indian toilet cleaning syndrome?

People drop shoes on the road, it's not worth getting into the middle of the road and grabbing them back, especially if your passenger is dead already.

A quick example from last night, sadly another fatality. #shoesLucky Lucan wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 1:00 amPeople drop shoes on the road, it's not worth getting into the middle of the road and grabbing them back, especially if your passenger is dead already.
