Thanks guys.
2 wheels are not the first bad reviews that I heard about them.
I tried with vays, but the owner told me I'll call you to repair your bike .... ¨ still waiting ... (this was before Pchum ben days, so here I can understand)
It seems they do not want to repair my bike!
I will try Cheang Seng 432 st
Recommended Motorbike Mechanic?

I just $150 worth of work done on my KLX250 at Cheang Seng. Very happy with the results. I Google all the parts he uses and they were damn close to Amazon. Com prices. He even tweaked fixer like 5 things I didn't ask /know about. Adjusted brakes. I got the bike back and he installed a new toggle switch for my radiator fan. I didn't even ask him nor pay for it. I am very very happy it seems I found a Khmer who can do very good work.cheflo wrote:Thanks guys.

Gibbon, see what Akira says. Since u have a bias towards my intelligence (have u met me?)gibbon arms wrote:This.Jackal wrote:Plus your story about two has changed since last time.
Tony has been a stand-up guy in all my dealings with him. He has a rather in-depth servicing that he does. It's all typed out on a laminated sheet that I'm sure he showed you. It's expensive and if you didn't need the whole works done then you should have told him.
But being the knucklehead that you are, you probably just nodded to everything he said without clearly understanding everything.
Though, props to you for being a man and stating your beef, unlike vlad who pussyfooted around, hinting here and there without naming TWO after that alleged paper-gasket clusterfuck.
AE87s said " With DM's post, I feel the need to speak up on Tony's place. Since I've been hanging around Phnom Penh and talking to various people, 5 different people (if including DM, who I know in person), I have talked to have all told me how they've taken their bike to Tony's place and it's come back wrong or bodged in some way or another. These people I've known for quite a while and to my knowledge, none of them know each other either so it's not like a conspiracy to "take him down" or something of the like.
Either or, the mistakes (two of which I personally had to fix, so I can vouch the work was done wrong) were very disconcerting, so I've stopped recommending his place. Maybe someone can shed some light on the issue, but when the mechanic somehow forgets to let the bike cool down before doing a valve adjustment (really elementary stuff), then I really wonder about their abilities."

That Cheang Seng place has two bosses. One is a real prick. The other is friendlier.
They failed miserably to fix an electrical problem on my bike the last time I was there ( changed regulator, charged me for it. Then charged me for a stator rewind which wasn't needed. I went back, pissed off, and demanded they fix the damn thing for the decent wedge I had already paid them and they cut every light and indicator wire out of the loom at source, taped over it, charged the battery and gave it back to me.
I had to resist a half serious urge to make and throw a petrol bomb at their door for a few nights after that, as it used be on my way home.
Anyhow, wouldn't recommend them.

Think the guy you are talking about is called Dy (Dee?)... runs a decent (albeit typically disorganised) shop.. never had an issue with his work and he will always make good his work if he doesn't get it right the first time..DetroitMuscle wrote:I've had a bad experience with two wheels. I'd expect it's best to call any mechanic before you go, especially before peak times like long national holidays.
Vay off street 110 is a bit of a cunt IMO.. any bike out of the ordinary and his greedy fucking eyes light up with dollar signs.. he had my bike for 10 days and literally did fuck all.. even when I had told him what the exact problem was (faulty distributor).. all he seems interested in is Triumphs for those posers down Bassac Lane.
