Windscreen for 1996 Honda Prelude
I hope the Khmer who fits it uses the correct flange.
pew, pew, pew, pew!
There are kits available in the west that include a syringe and special two pack glue. I used the stuff on my Rav 4 here two years ago and I saw the car this morning and the crack had not lengthened. But it was only a stone chip that had cracked for about 30mm. Thailand would have a lot of second hand Honda windscreens.

I dont think u will get a windscreen for prelude in Phnom Penh. there is a one shop on Russian Blvd near to ANZ head office (on the same side of the road) who take orders and can supply the windscreen in a one month or so. roughly it would be around US$ 400.
if you want a quick solution, there is one guy who can cut toyota / lexus windscreen according to the size of the old one. sounds crazy but he did that for my acura TSX. he managed to cut a camry hybrid windscreen for my car. the curvature was not 100% accurate but i am driving with it for a year now without any issue
i would love to see your prelude ? is it the red one ?

Thanks for that info. This is my friends car, it's in Siem Reap.
Was it cheaper to cut the new glass than order one?
Oh and he stickers his cars as well as his bikes, bloody awful I know but he loves it.

Is that a shopping list on the door?
Please tell me those "vents" are not stickers?

Ok near half the price, thanks for that.
Of course the vents are stickers!
I'll look closer and let you know what's on the shopping list.
It's nasty I agree 100% both bike and car, he thinks it's cute!

Its five years on since this thread and I have similar issue. I have a very cracked windscreen. In any other country I would get it replaced but it is for an old Lincoln so I highly doubt I can get a replacement in Cambodia or the nearby region. Does anyone know if there is anyone that can "repair" the cracks with the liquid type products in Phnom Penh? Basically I just want to fill the cracks in so as to pass the vehicle inspection.
Alternatively is it possible to have custom made windscreen in Cambodia (although I prefer not to go down this road as the replacement may wreck the seals)?

They don’t care about cracks at the inspection or at least the mobile one. Just find out where it is and go there.
Cheers Crack head. Yeah the guy I work with said similar but it is a fairly big crack (like someone has hit the windscreen with a hammer). To my surprise though I was asking around yesterday (well the person I work with who is Khmer was) and apparently after searching around for several hours they found one from an exact same model. I'll believe it when I see it but there is hope.
