Sorry for all the noob questions...
Can I drive a scooter in Cambodia on an Australian Driver's Licence or an International Driver’s Licence that has been issued in Australia, or do I need to get a Cambodian Licence?
Does it depend on how long i'm in the country for?
Is it easy to get a Cambodian Licence?
Thanks for your help!
Driver's Licence in Cambodia
No, no and yes and no.
You'll need to go to PP with your Oz licence and get a 1 year Cambodian licence.
Don't listen to posters saying you don't need a licence for a Moto under 125cc. That's true but you'll still get "fined".

Are moto riders getting stopped and fined in SHV for spurious reasons?
Was chatting with a group of friends last night and only 1 of the 6 of us had been stopped within the past year & that was for going the wrong way down a one way street.
In my experience, no you won’t need a local license for <125cc & even many people don’t have them for bigger bikes but that may only be the case in PP and not in Sihanoukville.

Have you not noticed people have stopped bitching about being pulled over in SHV "for no reason", which often meant no shirt, no helmet no idea?
It's because the Chinese are here.
If you're only here for less that six months don't bother. Just pay the $1 fine - and that's you should pay, unless you don't wear a helmet then you deserve it.

Just to clarify - i'll be in Siem Reap, and i'll definitely be wearing a helmet!!
Not sure about SR. Try it for a week.
Also if you've never ridden a Moto be careful.
