Can't say that this is correct. I have owned MBs for more than 30 years and drove each one at least for 8 years. Never any major problems. W124, W163, W164.

One of those models is the same as the one you were trying to sell - with loads of issues. Lol. The W163 is better but still the old saying goes - don’t buy an old Mercedes in Cambodia, including the last good Merc the W124, which is what I’ve already said. Proper German car not yank turd.
Check out any online reliability chart and the W163 and W164 are all high on owners issues. Utter crap.
Rubberbaron has been pretty straight up over his car, just trying to get the best price for it as we all do.
