Best smart phone for under $150
Best smart phone for under $150
I'm looking for a phone; my $12 nokia lasted 4 years and it's been superb but now I would like to get somewhat with the 21st Century. I'm looking for a smart phone preferably $150 or less and one of the main things I would like is a decent camera, to include taking pics at night (or in dark areas).
Doesn't have to be the newest/latest model, I'm quite happy to buy second hand. Not particularly bothered by brand.
Recommendations?

I've been researching budget smartphones phones, and the motorola moto gets good reviews. As does the sony experia 3.
The Sony looks good; but is it really around the $150 mark?
I was guessing so, as it's £80 uk ( $120).

I know some guys get phones delivered to PI. You could maybe do that for Cambo. Not sure how much it was.

I've got a Nokia Lumina which has great camera and other bits n bobs as you would expect from smart phone. Works well enough for me.

There are some Apple iphone copies that run Android which many say are better than the original iphones. Central Market has them just be sure to check everything out well on a new unboxed phone and don't let them switch it with a new boxed one they will switch it with cheaper one.

If you live in Cambodia, and don't travel to the real world very often, then you should buy a new Samsung. You'll be able to get it repaired or buy replacment parts here more easily than other brands.
The Samsung shop on Monivong (east side of street, north of Sihanouk) has all the current models at reasonable prices. Shitty service, but that's normal. Shopping around might save you $10.

If you can live with Windows OS, a lot of recent Nokia models are going super cheap now. Microsoft is giving them away to gain market share me thinks. Same w/Google & the Motos to a lesser extent. Some decent Samsung Korean models are great deals here. GF got a good one for $120. IIWY, I'd spend a little more and grab an LG G2 for $220. That would be a great price even in the States. A shop is advertising them on Khmer 24.

For Nokia phones, you can go to Microsoft shop (sigh) on Sihanouk Bd if you want to pay a premium.
Or buy them cheaper at NiKa Shop on 310 with same warranty, service & eventually a gift.
For 150$ you can get plenty of decent phones from Lenovo, Asus (known brands), or Oppo, Blackview, Xiaomi...
No need to buy overpriced Samsung shit.
