Netflix in Cambodia (inc. apps)
It's not changing the regions that's a problem, which is easy enough to do. It's that doing that still doesn't make the Netflix app appear on my TV. Other new apps show up that I didn't have before, such as Hulu, but Netflix doesn't.
Later on I'll be trying UnoTelly with the blueray player (which already has the Netflix app) and I expect that to work fine. I'll test I'm getting US only content etc. and will post results. Not sure how useful that is for others as Orange Dragon already reported this working well in 2012.
My issue is more with getting the Sony TV to make the Netflix app available.

Don't blame me I voted for Sanders
Hi G&T. Thanks for your continued tips on this. I couldn't find an option like that (had a look through the auto start-up settings just in case it was hidden in there) and turned off the auto software updates and will have another go this evening.
Don't worry too much about it though. I can foresee one problem, which is that the US apps list does not include the Youtube app (which my wife uses daily) so I'd have to constantly swap countries depending on the app we wanted to use. Initiating the swap by browser is pretty easy but combining that with instructing the TV to update the available apps, it's too many button presses for lazy me. I'm also thinking of getting a PS4 in the not too distant future, which already has the app so that should be a pretty easy solution.
Cheers.
