HI. I am not very tech literate...
I have Kodi installed on a Tablet and am using a Chinese AnyCast dongle for the TV to allow me to mirror the tablet. When I try to stream movies, it will play for a little while, and then go into almost slow motion? I have conducted numerous speed tests, and I am getting 5mbps download and 0.8mbps Upload (wireless). Sometimes the mirroring will quit also (maybe 2 separate probs?)The searching I have done on the internet has advised that it is the upload speed that is key, and 5mbps should be sufficient. Anyone know what the problem may be? I also see the same problem when I click on a video of the various websites that I visit.
BTW: I am in Phnom Penh
Thanks

If you need 5 Mbps upload and you only have 0.8 Mbps upload then you probably answered your own question.bule gila wrote:The searching I have done on the internet has advised that it is the upload speed that is key, and 5mbps should be sufficient.
Bless
Nice catch Alex.
What I meant to write was that I had read the DOWNLOAD speed was the key factor. My download is 5mbps, and Upload is only 0.8mbps. Wondering if the slow upload is a contributing factor.

Treat it as 2 problems. The first being streaming to you tablet, the second being streaming from your tablet to the TV.
Where and how do you test you internet speeds?
How far is the WiFi router, how strong is your signal to you tablet and the to TV?
What resolutions are you viewing and mirroring at?
Try a lower resolution. If it works at a lower resolution then it's either a bandwidth or processor speed issue. What are the tablet specs?
