I dropped my phone and now have magenta quickly spreading across my screen. Some areas of touchscreen are dead too
Where can I get it fixed, how much will it cost and will I have to be witbout my ohone for awhile in order to get it fixed?

If you actually bothered your arse to read this sub-forum you'd see there was a place I got mine fixed.

If you are referring to this, you wanker, there is no detail as to who you used. Also, my phone cannot be used to read or type anymore so forgive me for not reading anything. I borrowed a phone to type this response.

It's an every day problem, so think any reputable looking phone shop should have a 12 year old out back to fix a screen.
If it was me I'd check on around psar kandal, but that's only because i'd have a beer in the vicinity anyway.

Stop being so nasty.
One really should re-post the question in the corresponding sub-section. No need to clog up the site with multiple queries on the same subject. It just makes it harder for others to find the info.

And possibly others who haven't met her
There's a place at the top of Soriya Mall near Central Market that claimed to be able to fix my broken S8+ screen for $180. I haven't got around to it yet so can't recommend them.

I hope it was a cheap one! My wife dropped her's and it also got wet. $8 for a "new" screen and "cleaning" at some random mom and pop shop. Never really worked the same again. After a few weeks, we bought a new phone.
I would try Hakse http://www.hakse.com.kh, and all the other shops around central mkt. And the big Samsung shop on Monivong. And Citifone http://www.khmer440.com/chat_forum/view ... 13&t=58802 (Thanks to Window Licker for the Citifone lead!)https://www.facebook.com/Citifone-Mobil ... 563854039/
Be sure to back everything up first! Good luck!

I went to citiphone once to get a dongle thingamed... anyway they couldn't do it. I guess I can give them another chance with a screen, however if it is going to cost 180 I think it might be more cost effective to get a new phone

I use Sokly Phone No.44Eo, Street 67, Phsar Thmey They repair Samsung Phones They put a new screen (glass) in a Samsung Gt18552 for $15 and a complete screen (digitiser) on a Galaxy S2 for $50. Both times, left overnight and returned next day.
Looks like the digitiser is gone. They should be able to fix it. When its just the glass, there are cracks and the phone is usually still usable. Going to be at least $50 depending on model I would think.
