Overseas access glithcy
Overseas access glithcy
Over the last couple of weeks when accessing overseas sites I'm often confronted with timeouts and poor responsiveness from well know site, like Google and Microsoft. Is anyone else having issues?

With loads of kids now home schooling the cheaper ISPs like openet and digi are now under unprecedented pressure.

Yeah, happens, when kids do get their unlimited Internet for schooling and will fade away a couple of weeks after the kids go back to school.
One way to work around this, is to have a VPN and check which nodes to connect do give you the best connection. For me, that worked out to have a VPN to Malaysia, which got routed direct to the line between SHV and Malaysia (direct sea fiber), instead of the default route through Vietnam and Hong Kong.
Until the evening in the Middle East, when things fry again.
