Is this or a similar product available in Cambodia and if so which brand would you recommend.
I'm wanting to get the kids off their mobile phones and onto the TV when they access Australian films/movies/educational programs. ( SBS, ABC and even Ytube for Khmer videos and English training videos )
Another question, can you access Chromecast from a desktop PC rather than a mobile ph as I would prefer to not have to dedicate a mobile phone as being the relay point to the TV.
NB: I am not in country and cannot just pop down to the local electronics shop to find out what is available and how to set it up.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

I bought a TV with it built in from one of those Sunsimexco shops; the guy knew immediately what I was after, decent size Sony flat screen with it built in for something south of $350 a couple of years back if my memory is any good. Pretty standard nowadays; and it just allows me to cast from phone/computer to the tv with minimal fuss. Add on Netflix/Amazon/ etc and you're good to go with sensible tv for kids.

OK, be gentle with me as you all know my understanding is rather limited on this stuff.
Borders got opened and I arrived a few weeks ago, in amongst all the goodies for the family was a New Chromecast.
Turned on the PC and the Australian Sites I wanted to share with the family were all blocked, the sites were not available for regions outside Australia, so I guess I've got to fool them that I'm logging on from Oz via a different VPN, Ok - I sort of understand what I need to do to get access but not sure how to do this, and to further add to my confusion - how do I get the chromecast thing to also get access.
We all know that trying to explain this to me will be a challenge, so rather than you waste time and energy - can you simply point me to a few online tutorials that I can watch.

Buy a $30 Roku device and connect it to the internet and then have them watch educational youtube videos or Netflix.
Or buy a smart TV with Youtube and Netflix built in and skip the Roku.

Did the chromecast you bought come with a remote and Google TV?
If not, you’ve pretty much got no chance

It can be done scoffer. Multiple different ways. I mean no disrespect but all of which are likely too difficult for you . I suggest you find a local IT guy and pay to get it done. You can use either a VPN or a smartdns service.
