On the "Find Dave Walker" facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/1419607 ... ream_ref=2, friends and family have been discussing the possibility of a private detective. It might be a good idea if someone could post contact details for this guy on the page or email them to the people concerned.keeping_it_riel wrote:I met him on Saturday after Denis's funeral. unclear, where the passport was left (in the room?)
but leaving his phone behind ???
he walks out, to sit somewhere, without his phone, without anything to work on, to look at...
but with a water bottle...
not on a way to a cafe...?
if he had such a "well established" routine... where would he USE to go with these few things...?

so did the one I posted but when i clicked on your original it didn't... maybe it was a timing thing as I see the post was edited. Perhaps it was being edited when I clicked. All good.Jaap N. wrote:This one works: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1419607688286586/violet wrote:link didn't work: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1419607 ... 6/?fref=ts

why would he inform the maid, that he will "be back in a while"...
how is this "back in a while" supposed to be meant (in english)...?
he can have had a second passport, just for the record...
so, we know... his room was CLEANED AFTER his disappearance... just for the record...

something happened in the room. imo.
perhaps money is missing from the room, or something else. who knows...
who was his last visitor ?
who was he last together with, whereever in SR...?
when at what occassion was he seen last BEFORE that alleged 2 pm...?
if they know it all in that guesthouse, that he left at 2 and never came back (perhaps they had the key, did they?) then they certainly also know who his last visitor was...
unlikely, he would have left without phone...
unlikely, the phone would have been stolen (tracking)...
the room was cleaned after this disappearance...
ask the person who cleaned the room...
check where the phone was last recorded, outside the guesthouse and for how long in the guesthouse area...

I do agree on the principle. However I suggest I edit your post with a few frenglish spelling so you sound more like inspector Cluzopotty wrote:something happened in the room. imo.

Going out and leaving his phone in the room is strange. Unless he was particularly forgetful or he left in a hurry.
It's not beyond the realms of possibility that he died in his sleep and the guest house got rid of the body so they wouldn't get shut down by the local constabulary and have to pay a huge bribe to open up again.
Just saying...

Not really, though some of the theorizing and story telling out there is getting stupider.Jaap N. wrote:Any news yet?
