Tony Jones of Charlie Harpers Bar dies in motorbike crash
Sad to hear, RIP and will be missed by many
Yes. The family (mother) has given permission to perform the cremation. (Apparently the sister found out through a Facebook story by a Khmer journalist along with pictures.

Oh my god the poor woman. What a horrible shock. Bad enough to learn through Facebook let alone see images of him. Condolences to family and friendsYaTingPom wrote:Yes. Oh no. Tony was a great guy and as others have said he has been on a get fit programme riding bicycles long distances. I am very sad about this.
RIP
RIP
They're waiting for the sister to fly over. She arrives tomorrow afternoon.
The cremation is planned for Thursday.
I'm sure Tony would have appreciated anyone who wants to come down but I'm sure he' would have understood if that's not possible.
RIP big man.

Cremation postponed at the last minute until Thursday AM, mention of family (UK based) attending.
It is such a blessing that his Mother and Sister visited him a year ago after quite a while and saw the great life he was living.

Note to self: Must be nice to morons.
I've sent you a PM john.

RIP. Friendly man and a visit to CH was a must whenever in SHV.

Shall be sadly missed, I return in three weeks mate. Three weeks too bloody late. I'm so so sorry.
Proud to have known you Tony.
Proud to have known you Tony.
(Laud)John, Paul here, in Battambang.
When I lived in SHV, we used to go out on his pub crawls in tuk-tuks. However, as you stated, he did ride his motorbike sometimes. I hate to hear he was riding a motorbike. I assume he was alone?
I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Prior to me moving from SHV, our favorite word, when I walked in Charlie Harper's, was "shooters!".
Horrible, horrible news to hear.

Sad news. I didn't know him but went a few times there with OD when he was living in snooky. I remember the chilli cook off, fun times in a friendly place. I hope the bar will continue to be his long lasting legacy.

Great tribute to Tony.

Terrible news.
A few of us were down there hashing with Tony only a month ago. He was on good form and looking well having lost a good bit of weight.
A trip to Sihanoukville will no longer be the same.
