Radio One DJ 'Big Tim' Robertson found dead
I think it's him, unfortunately.
The passport picture is dated from 2006, so it's nine years old. The features are the same though.

I was working with Tim when that passport would have been issued, he had blonde , greying hair tied back in a pony tail! However, same name, same DOB , bollocks. nice guy, hardly ever drank didn't do drugs, but did very little exercise. sorry mate. RIP
k440, something to do when you're pissed.
Maybe I skip on that particular doc's service.....Elekid wrote:The doctor thought that the victim was sleeping and tried to wake him up. Then the doctor noticed that the victim already died.

I'm truly very sorry to hear this. Although we hadn't hung out together for a few years now, there was a time we were very good friends, our life's took a different path and as I say I hadn't seen him in a while. If anyone knows funeral details please pass them on.
Crikey he looks pretty skinny in the photos. I have found that in the west they wont let you die, healthcare is incredibly good in Australia. I probably should have died in Cambodia too when I was bleeding huge amounts of blood regularly late at night.
Here with great doctors who really care and the best drugs it seems impossible to die. I am actually getting better now with my original problem but a new one has reared its ugly head. Men die young, its a fact of life.
Poor guy. RIP
I hope that there is a good turnout at the wat.

NO, no, no, no, no... horrible news!
Tim, such a lovely fella! A really nice bloke. Devastated. RIP, mate.
I don't think he was working at BISPP, btw, though perhaps others will confirm. He did work there for a short time, but left a couple of years ago.***EDIT*** Sorry, it doesn't say BISPP, it says something else.
Still can't believe it. Like horace, I first met him at New World, 2006, I think it was.
He was a great lover of cricket and rugby and would wear his 'Mike Gatting Testimonial Tie' from time to time. An excellent conversationalist and always had a kind word and a smile for anyone in need. He will be sorely missed.

I worked with Tim in 2012-2013 at BISPP and found him to be a terrific person and a good teacher. We had many common interests, including music, rugby, cricket and Australian culture and had some fascinating conversations. He seemed to live a very conservative lifestyle by PP expat standards, though he sometimes showed signs of stress beneath the laidback demeanour. I thoroughly enjoyed his company and he will be sorely missed.
Horace that's definitely him. His passport photo shows him with short hair, but that's him. That's a bummer - he was a really good dude. I remember him saying around 10 years ago (after a few expat deaths in a short period of time) that he needed to get out of there. I used to go on his radio show with him back in the day. He must have done that show for 8 plus years b/c I remember being on with him in 2007, and I think that's when he was just getting started. I remember that's when it was b/c he would always play Jordin Sparks' Battlefield on the radio. He used to hang out at Last Home, and didn't mind his hostess bars. Top guy - RIP.
