Interesting short piece in the PPP about tourist deaths and crimes committed against tourists in 2015, however i don't believe these numbers much...

I'll upload this here instead of creating a thread for him. But if needs be go ahead and create one.
Not on any websites that I can see, (which goes to show that there must be more foreigner deaths than K440 notice and record) but was on page 8 of Nokor Thom today.
French man, 71 years old, PATISOU PIEKKE ANDRE, died of natural causes. (Lung problems and also had a heart pace maker) Khmer wife.
Article says he was in hospital in France and decided to return to Cambodia, then he was treated at a 'modern' hospital in Cambodia, but was being cared for at home with oxygen (etc.) passed away at home.
Then the photographers came. Now he's in the K440 list.
RIP.

On the running totals info, when I click on the link to the unidentified, murdered African gent, it doesn't seem to lead to a posting.
It just takes me to: http://www.khmer440.com/chat_forum/viewforum.php?f=14
Is there a news story on the dark deed that led to his passing?

New Zealand is equal 4th, only one death behind Australia. For a small nation, they really excel at death and rugby.

The UK is doing pretty well per capita wise as well, tied for first with the US, and well above Russia, China, France, Germany, etc.prahocalypse now wrote:New Zealand is equal 4th, only one death behind Australia. For a small nation, they really excel at death and rugby.
The Brits like to win at any cost. They are doing much the same in the Olympics.Miguelito wrote:The UK is doing pretty well per capita wise as well, tied for first with the US, and well above Russia, China, France, Germany, etc.prahocalypse now wrote:New Zealand is equal 4th, only one death behind Australia. This is one event where being a drugs cheat really is an advantage.
The drowning of the Indian in Sihanoukville yesterday takes SHV's tally to 39 for the year, tied with Phnom Penh.

It looks like American Gary Haines, 62, died on 18 January 2016 in Phnom Penh after falling in the bathroom at the Lux Hotel.

These numbers must be wrong. The government says only 113 foreigners died in Cambodia last year.
