...and their forum is plain shit, with an admin discussing with himself.
Sounds like this is a BBC spin-off of their TV programme Loy9 intended to help poor Khmer understand civilization.

Huh?dsl25 wrote:This new site not only copies all Khmer news from here and publishes them in plain English but now created a so called Deathpat Index:

Is plagiarism contagious?
While I think presenting the data in infographics is interesting and reader-friendly, I doubt that he's doing the grueling work of looking through the news (that's what Boomer's doing on a totally voluntary basis and sharing here and trying to get information as accurate as possible) and compiling them in figure (which is what Scobz's been doing).
Credit where credit is due would be intellectually honest and appreciated. I hope you're reading, Koon Khmer.

They just changed their title from "Deathpat Index" to "Khmexit Index"

It's not a bad job but he should give credit where it's due. Unless of course he has independently researched this and the figures are a bit different.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
So it's like everybody is dying from a heart attack in Phnom Penh, even at 20y.o.... Why do you stick to the official version of the cause of death when it is clear the actual cause was an OD? thinking about the Belgian guy case, where it's been reported that "he threw up blood and mucus was dripping through his nose and mouth."
wouldn't it be interesting to sort as "suspicious heart attack / suspected OD", aside to "reported OD" and "confirmed heart attack". Just for the sake of year to year comparison. The Kh440 users in 2030 will be grateful for these data.

3.1 deaths/week, that's a high average! At least i've got some evidence now that it has nothing to do with me, as they kept falling like flies in my absence...

I am sure not all are reported. I just came back from the morgue at Khmer Soviet Friendshio Hospital to say goodbye to my friend. There are 5 others with him. 1 australian, one UK, 2 canada and the remaining is not able to be identified due to the nature of the remains. I pray none of you have to visit that place.

Morgue is a generous term for what it is. If you really want to know more you can PM me.
