SR:Fake Chinese Monks Questioned By Immigration
Khminglish;
Siem Reap: the competence of police stations, immigration Siem Reap while police are now questioning Angkor Chinese subversive 2 to ask for money, two guests and residents in the city of Siem Reap.

Disclaimer:Reading Khminglish can cause a persistent and seriously disturbed perception of reality...
I've seen at least 2 of these along Riverside Phnom Penh, the third one from the left was arrested/questioned last year iirc in Mondulkiri or Ratanakiri because he did not accept small change or something. I seem to remember there was a thread about it on K440.boomer wrote:

^ Yes, well, the tall one is the one that got arrested in Mondolkiri; I've seen the other one in PP as well. Wankers.

Defrock them, tar and feather them, then run them out of town. So one of those cnuts hugging a soap-dodger on Pub Street and she went all spiritual and shit.

If they are fake then how will defrocking them help?
It's a bit like making a fake cop take his police clothes off and saying "You're a disgrace to the force".

The tall one on the right is a regular sight around Phnom Penh. It's good to see the Siem Reap authorities doing something their Phnom Penh counterparts have been 'persuaded' not to.
Interesting this one. Earlier yesterday there was a Facebook posting by someone of fake monks in Siem Reap. A barang posted a comment and tagged a well known policeman (Yut Sinin, aka seemingly the only policeman who gives a f*ck) in Siem Reap challenging him to do something about it... Then hours later they did! The tagged policeman is seen in the last photos....

No, Yut Sinin is a good guy; I have dealt with him before. He busted the Happy Pizza joint here in Temple Town a couple of years ago. The harmless dopers had kilos of hard drugs at home....

I was in Oslo, Norway this summer for a beer festival and believe it or not, but even there you could see these fake monks walking around on the streets trying to cheat people out of their money.
How much do these guys make on this scam anyway If they can fly all the way to one of the most expensive countries in the world, rent some apartment/guesthouse room, buy the overpriced food/drinks and still make enough money to fly out of there with money in their pocket to scam again another place?

Alcohol is necessary so that a man can have a good opinion of himself, undisturbed by the facts
