It sounds like someone is upset because his mother used to service British sailors by the boat load. That's her there in your avatar bracing herself for her 15th face full of the evening.MONEYBACKGUARANTEE wrote:Good riddancekgbagent wrote:British fella
Oh those long days standing on the peer, staring to the horizon, hoping the next ship into port would bring daddy home.

Why do you say that, MBG? What possible pleasure could there be had at the news of another human being's passing? Why do you think it is okay for a person to leave this life when that person is from a particular country (presumably, as opposed to hailing from a different country)? At what point is it 'good riddance' for a citizen of one country to leave us, but something bad for a citizen of another country?MONEYBACKGUARANTEE wrote:Good riddancekgbagent wrote:British fella
Do you know something about this chap, other than that he was British? Your comment is perplexing. What hatred do you carry in your heart? Why?

Just saw on the other forum that he left behind a young daughter. Sorry for my earlier comments.
This is Paul. It's not a great picture, but the only other pics online are of him with his daughter. RIP
To all of you heartless and nasty people posting comments about Paul Seston this is my brother.... He was a human being shame on you all

I am a friend of Paul. Even though I've only known him for a few months he was a decent guy. I met him several times, mainly at the weekends in the couple of bars we used to go to.
He was never rude. He never ridiculed people or put people down. He was a straight-talking man who said what he thought but always in a non-threatening way. He never took sides in a debate and was always diplomatic in what he said. He had some great qualities and skills when talking to people. He was a fair person in my eyes. I will say he was a genuine nice guy to have a beer and a chat with.
He even insisted one night that I take a tuk-tuk home as I wasn't to sober and I gladly took his advice. I thanked him the next time I saw him, which was the next day.
I will give praise to the few people who helped him the other night (a small circle of friends of ours), especially to the two people who communicated to his family back home (not the easiest thing to do to report a tragedy to a stranger) but they did it because we are all good friends. I hope that his family in Cambodia will be notified in a discreet and kind way about him.
The last thing I said to Paul as I shook his hand as I was leaving was "Have a good night, mate." as I always do to my friends. I wish I'd said something different but.......
So. Rest In Peace Paul. I like to think what happened was quick and painless. Thank you for all the laughs and conversations you bought with you. You will be missed.
