Like with the Filipino man the other day, the police claim to have done an autopsy. Was at the same hospital too. Are they just exaggerating, or does Siem Reap have a competent forensic examiner?

Siem reap: on the night of 13 October 2016, a Korean died while he was being sent to the Siem Reap province hospital Royal Angkor to be helped/treated. After this, immigration police coordinated with the ‘technical science’* office of the Siem Reap provincial police to perform an examination of the corpse which concluded, together with a group of doctors, that the victim died as a result of a heart attack because the victim showed symptoms of suffocation/stop breathing.
Lieutenant Vann Rith of the immigration police of Siem Reap province said that the victim’s name is Yoo Bok Soon, female, 72 years old, Korean nationality, and was a tourist, passport number M64340966. She was travelling with a tour group through Cambodia and had arrived in Siem Reap on 11 October 2014 on a flight from Hanoi to Sieam Reap. She was staying in a hotel called Starry Angkor in room number 143, which is located in Banteay Chas village, Slorkram district, Siem Reap city.
The brother of the deceased clarified to the police that when the victim arrived in Siem Reap she immediately told him that she had symptoms of discomfort and on 12 october when the (tour?) group took her to get medically examined in Royal Angkor hospital. After the examination finished, the victim returned to the hotel in order to rest until 13 October 10 o’clock, when the victim told her brother again that she had symptoms of suffocation/difficulty breathing and she was quickly taken back to the Royal Angkor hospital right away. However, the symptoms were very serious and the victim stopped breathing and died on route at 10:38pm.
Currently, the body is kept at the Royal Angkor hospital, in order to wait for a decision by the embassy and the family of the deceased.
