There's no suggestion she's a suspect or that he was stabbed. Fuck, I just argue with grieving ex-wives, I don't accuse them of murder.Just Robbed wrote:Why have the police provided her passport details unless they think she is a suspect?
Looking at her signature and the writing on the note - there is something vaguely similar.
The blood trail is interesting and the slumped over position. Almost as if he stumbled there after being stabbed.
Odd.

Standard protocol for the partner to be a suspect in a murder.Just Robbed wrote:Why have the police provided her passport details unless they think she is a suspect?

I appreciate that you get perverse enjoyment out of casting aspersions on his wife due to your hatred of women, but there's no suggestion at all that he was murdered.Gin&Tonic wrote:Standard protocol for the partner to be a suspect in a murder.Just Robbed wrote:Why have the police provided her passport details unless they think she is a suspect?

Answer yes or no, is someone's partner almost always considered a suspect in a murder?

There is no evidence that anyone has been murdered so your comment - while understandable given your history - is moot. You might want to consider that there is a child who has lost a parent on Christmas Eve, and also that the mother - who found the guy's body - is reading this thread.
Jesus fucking Christ. What is wrong with people?

What's bizarre about it is that Gin&Tonic is always bitching and moaning about the Khmer press ruining people's reputations with irresponsible speculation, at least when the victim is male.
He's quite capable of reason though, I suspect when he sobers up Christmas morning he'll realize that he was wrong.
Gin&Tonic wrote: Ethics and journalism rarely meet but in Cambodia, never. I too have been the target of a particularly nasty and highly defamatory article in the Cambodian press.
Too I late for this guy, the damage is done and with the best court system money can buy the guy will not be able to get any sort if of compensation. Heads should roll for this but no doubt, they won't.
Now he jumps into this thread and suggests that a grieving wife is a murder suspect just because police copied her passport after her husband died.Gin&Tonic wrote:GavinMac has a point. Gossip like that should not be tolerated. If the man is committing crimes, report him. Report him to his embassy, report him to the locals. To libel someone on a forum is inevitably wrong and could also ruin a real investigation.

I did not accuse her of murder. Prick that you are though it's the sort of thing one can expect from you.gavinmac wrote:There's no suggestion she's a suspect or that he was stabbed. Genuine question about why they wouk show her passport page and not the dead guy. Strikes me as odd.
Fornall we know the poor guy could have been killed by someone if he were stabbed and she's found the body. That's all.

You insinuated that she was a murder suspect when you asked "Why have the police provided her passport details unless they think she is a suspect?" and then added "The blood trail is interesting and the slumped over position. Almost as if he stumbled there after being stabbed."Just Robbed wrote:I did not accuse her of murder. Imagine if you dropped dead of a heart attack one day while walking along Street 51, and news photos show that you were found with $20 in your pocket. Then I read about your death and come on Khmer440 and ask "Why would he have $20 in his pocket on Street 51 unless he was there to pick up whores?" And for good measure I add "Look at the scrape on his forehead, almost looks like an AIDS lesion."
I'm sure you would agree that if I made such reckless and inflammatory comments about you being an AIDS infected whoremonger upon reading of your innocent death, I would be a total dickhead for doing so. Likewise, you're being a total dickhead for making similar comments speculating that this man was stabbed to death and that police think his wife is a suspect.

Asking why the cops posted her passport and if they think she is a suspect is not accusing her of murder. It's more a comment on the ineptness of the cops and why they would do such a thing. English may not be your first language though I suppose. Anus.

You didn't just ask if she was a suspect, you combined that with a comment in the very next sentence that it looked like he had been stabbed. It wasn't very nice. Just try to be nicer online and avoid irresponsible and hurtful speculation.

So it has been confirmed she is the killer as Just Robbed suggests?
