Under these circumstances, who pays to fix the truck that this clown just crashed into?
I'm sure he was a top bloke - but someone has to pay to fix the truck.
Foreigner dies crashing moto into truck in Sihanoukville
I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Strange somehow. Daylight, the track is not curvy, it's a slight left turn if you come from the beach, but very harmless. I ride the road twice a day. During day and during night. Close to the place of accident there is a very dusty part on the road so I usually ride in the middle of the road if the traffic allows that. Three possibilities come to my mind:
1. Drunk or drugged.
2. Where the dusty part is there is a dirt road going away. Many times there is a truck loaded with soil coming out. They never take care of ongoing traffic, especially motos. Maybe a truck was coming out and he needed to leave his side of the road to avoid a crash. And ended up in another...
3. He was very unhappy.
Who pays for the bike, if it was a rented one? I guess nobody does...

I guess no one does, because most likely it won't have any insurance.scoffer wrote:Under these circumstances, who pays to fix the truck that this clown just crashed into?

I know some of you who are writing inappropriate comments probably didn't know this guy but he was a member of my family and we loved him dearly. We are all devastated and would appreciate it if you could refrain from writing anything else insensitive and allow us to grieve. Thank you.
Sorry for your loss LJ and condolences to your family.

I'm sorry for your loss, and I agree. In each case of a tragedy, there is still a grieving family and some respect for them should be warranted.LJ wrote:I know some of you who are writing inappropriate comments probably didn't know this guy but he was a member of my family and we loved him dearly. Can you tell us what happened?
The problem with the world is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
It seems the deceased guy is a young British lad. RIP.

My condolences. I hope that time will eventually ease your grief, and your family will be left with the cherished memory of your one you loved, and who loved you.LJ wrote:I know some of you who are writing inappropriate comments probably didn't know this guy but he was a member of my family and we loved him dearly. One of the biggest downsides of these anonymous forums is the hurtful comments people make.
I remember one on that stupid TV website. Some guy lost his young child when he wasn't watching carefully enough. The kid climbed up the rail and fell 23 floors. Speculation was the dad was banging some girl at the time or that sort of nonsense.
The father jumped off the the same balcony a couple of days later, overcome with grief and guilt.
One of his family members later sent me a PM thanking me for deriding the mob and calling them out.
Remember, these obscure internet forums are often the only sort of way family members can get anything approaching news on what happened.
Again LJ, my sincere condolences.
David
