Well I for one am shocked, shocked I tell you. Who would ever have thought that an underfunded prison system in a third world country was lacking in hygiene and customer service.
Maybe they should poach one of the chefs from Raffles or the Sofitel to revamp the menus and train the waiters better.

Having received this information I am going to try really hard not to go to prison in Cambodia.Playboy wrote:Well I for one am shocked, shocked I tell you. Who would ever have thought that an underfunded prison system in a third world country was lacking in hygiene and customer service.

I don’t think that I would like it very much.
I hope these reports are reflected in a poor tripadvisor rating so others know not to go stay there.

I wonder if there is a website, or app, for racing prisons around the world ?ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:Having received this information I am going to try really hard not to go to prison in Cambodia.Playboy wrote:Well I for one am shocked, shocked I tell you. Video of their groveling apology after having their heads shaved (males only apparently.)
Note: the ginger-head grinning barang interpreter in the blue Nike shirt screen-left? For some reason I'd like to put his tits in a wringer.

Now I am slightly confused. Were their heads shaved, offering apology and let go? Or heads shaved, apology plus demanded 7k? Unlikely they have 7k though unless had help from the family back home.
maybe they will get 7k for the hair, big demand for lice infested backpacker locks.the chicken wrote:Now I am slightly confused. Were their heads shaved, offering apology and let go? Or heads shaved, apology plus demanded 7k? Unlikely they have 7k though unless had help from the family back home.

My money is on Keith McCarter. He can solve anything in this country.gavinmac wrote:This is good journalism by the Sun. The Cambodian lawyer for the arrestees denied that any money was paid, but the arrestees and their Canadian lawyer all went mum. I'm glad someone has sort of gotten to the bottom of it. But who is the Western man in Cambodia brokering deals between arrested tourists and the authorities to get their passports back? Whitlow?

Yeah, he's a right smarmy cunt. People like that with their dumb attitudes are one reason why these minor incidents end up as a big mess for all involved.hennessy wrote: Note: the ginger-head grinning barang interpreter in the blue Nike shirt screen-left? No to my understanding his name was “Ben Hutchins” he was the one who apparently held passport until money was payed. He also claimed to be a Lawyer from Australia and after a little reasearch let down Aussie investors in his hovercraft venture. He also claimed to have a company called “Hutchins & co” which no longer exists as he is not a registered lawyer. I’m guessing this is not the first time he has done this.gavinmac wrote:This is good journalism by the Sun. Some of this doesn't add up.
For a start wouldn't python meat be more expensive than any other meat, fish or pork ??
Also if you had $2.50 for food why the fuck would you first try drinking pigs blood??!!
