Danish tourist passes away while out on a walk
A long time visiting international hasher collapsed while walking on the hash house harrier trail today. He reportedly passed away according to friends who were with him on the Cambodia Nash Hash, a large bash event held once a year. The weather reached up to the 37 degree range, and there was little shade on the trail. He was well known to his friends throughout Europe, Asia and elsewhere, and has been hashing since the ‘70s. I don’t believe his family has been notified yet, so I’ll withhold posting his name.

Hash House Harriers. It’s a drinking group with a running (walking) problem. Worldwide network of great people, including many posters here. I plan to publish a front page article describing its activities in Cambodia soon.tuk-tukfish wrote:Hasher?Miguelito wrote:A long time visiting international hasher collapsed while walking on the hash house harrier trail today. had always seen death as something accompanied with forewarning stress pain but am now seeing it as you are there then you are not, perhaps a pronounced weakness first doing something you frequently do then you are gone.been getting a lot of these weakness attacks when out and about walking. adios amigos in case i dont get it in before.

Sad news. Had been on a few hashes with him. My wife and son had been walking with him on the trail for a while yesterday before he fell behind the pack. She tells me the mood was sombre at what should have been the main weekend party last night.
I suppose looking on the positive side, it's not such a bad way for him to go, doing something that was such a big part of his life, out hashing with his friends in an exotic part of the world.
