That's grim. I'm guessing he'll be caught very soon, there aren't a whole lot of Errol Brown lookalikes about.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Send his passport to the US embassy, they can arrest him when he collects.

That could be just a scan from the guesthouse so he may still have his passport. He won't be able to go through any border with it or use it now anyway. So he can try lying low for a while but I'm guessing he'll get caught very soon. Like tomorrow.BillyB wrote:Send his passport to the US embassy, they can arrest him when he collects.

Here's a review of Hometown Suites from Tripadvisor:
Good location, bad hotel!
My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location was great for everything we wanted to see but dingy hotel, in a seedy area. Hotel was rowdy at night with people banging doors and the locks on the door were old and loose which didn't feel very safe. Bathroom also looked as if it was still under construction. Also there was a man on our floor who was sitting touching himself very inappropriately for all to see on a chair outside the lift. And a "no child sex" sign on the bedroom doors was very disturbing!! Only stay if you have no other option.

Are you kidding? What is an American supposed to look like? He's obviously from an Arab background, like a million and a half or so other Americans.GMJS-440 wrote:Are we sure that is a real USA passport? He doesn't look American.

If anyone should see an Errol Brown lookalike, please contact your local police.

Well if he had time to change the locks, and then the staff didn't enter until the noticed the bad smell, I'm guessing he had enough time to flee. I'm guessing he would have crossed a land border. Vietnam and Laos require visas for Americans, so my guess would be Thailand.Bong Burgundy wrote:They checked in on March 19, was found dead on March 25, after the locks had been changed. After he changed the locks he could be on a bus and in Thailand within what, 8 hours? Then he could carry on to Bangkok, check the news, and she if she had been found yet. If I were him, from there, probably head into Malaysia, again over land. As he comes from a Middle Eastern background, he'd be able to get himself into a nice network of support in Malaysia I'm sure.
Bet he turns up in Indonesia in about 2+ years.

He could be anywhere in the world as seems he had a bit of a head start. How many days was the door locked for? He could have killed her the day he checked in and be fanning himself in New Orleans for all anyone knows.
