I was thinking that. The poor bastard better high tail the fuck out of those waters. In oceanic terms it's wandered into a very rough part of town.vladimir wrote:How long before it shows up on Chinese restaurant menus?

When I lived in Southern Mindanao, Philippines; they used to swim off our beaches all the time. The locals all left them alone, even though they are famous for dynamiting fish to the point of ruining most of the coral down there.200 yards/meters or so off my beach was an internationally recognized dive site for having many different types of coral. It was a steep drop-off into Davao Bay that I guess was too deep for dynamiting.

Knowing these hipster back backer hostel types, they’ll probably start a “swimming with sharks” trendy adventure activity.
I bet it'll cost an arm and a leg though.....

My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.
I went snorkeling at the edge of the Hilutungan Channel trench off Mactan , Cebu a few years back. Fuck it was eerie . Drops from 5m of crystal clear water into absolute PITCH black with 0 light penetration into the abyss. Snorkeling down into the darkness was one of the freakiest things I have ever done as your mind starts to wonder what could come out of the depths suddenly......Johnsell50 wrote:When I lived in Southern Mindanao, Philippines; they used to swim off our beaches all the time. The closest I came to diving was snorkeling in the Bahamas. I did get to talk to a few people that did the dive near my beach, mine at that time, and they said it was breathtakingly beautiful. I guess not as scary as the trench.

Fools - when they could be sitting in sleaze bar, eating the worlds worst western food, getting drunk on metho-like booze and putting shit on other people who do not share their refined sense of the important things in life.

...then he smiled again, and slipped away, further on up the stream
