She can be deported wherever she wants to go next. It’s not an extradition.Bong Burgundy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 10:17 amFresh News reports 2 different things in Khmer and English, but Khmer version says US and she will be deported back there. <pinch of salt>
I flew Thai Airways in the 90s. That’s when I knew I had yellow fever.
The air stewardess winked at me. Made me go all of a quiver.
Rangsi. Haha!
All Cambodians change their bloody names. What’s all that about?

According to court documents, Rainman was summoned to appear before the judge this morning to answer charges of incitement via Facebook posts.

But then the good ghosts (like Casper) can’t find them.

Talking of ghosts. I was at a seance the other night and I got in touch with the ghost of a nurse who asked me for a urine sample.

Twitter Sopheang ChengMalaysian FM Saifuddin Abdullah says Thursday that Mu Sochua won’t be deported, saying immigration officials only wanted to know her intention of entering Malaysia.
“We are not in the position to deport people and neither do we like doing that. We are a pro-democracy government.”

https://www.ksl.com/article/46669252/th ... d-in-parisSam Rainsy had posted a photo on his Facebook page of what he said was his ticket which showed he had a confirmed booking for the Thursday flight. The photo also showed his booking reference and ticket number, opening the possibility that it could be changed online by a third party.

It seems there aren't any direct flights to Cambodia from anywhere except ASEAN nations, China and territories and Japan/ Korea, both which have excellent relationships with our RGC. We have excellent relations with all the bordering neighbors, so walking is out of the question. The only way I can see it working is by a late night scuba insertion from a trawler or perhaps parachute in from a chartered jet he might be able to get in DRC or Somalia or something, nobody in this region is going to touch that!

BANGKOK — ASEAN, or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, is not an acronym that tends to excite. Founded on notions of consensus-building and noninterference, the 10-nation group issues pronouncements drowning in careful and bland language.
This week, though, regional governments have banded together to use ASEAN’s principles to justify a startling act: blocking Cambodian opposition politicians who are trying to return home to confront Prime Minister HE of Cambodia, Asia’s longest-serving authoritarian leader.
This doesn't appear to be behind a paywall. If so, clear them cookies.
The irony is many of the ASEAN leaders have said they want to stay out of internal affairs of other countries but they're essentially doing exactly the opposite by arresting, detaining or blocking Khmer citizens from entering their own country - doing his bidding for him. Apparently Mu Sochua has also had her Cambodia Passport annulled along with a bunch of other people.
