Well, not saying anything about why, but this guy Mam Mom, 58 years old from Phnom Bat commune, Ponhea Leu district, Kandal province had just returned from work in Thailand five days ago. He had a fever and exhaustion and some sort of discomfort, and dropped down dead on the way the the hospital.
To be clear no mention had been given of you-know-what, but does say he was an alcoholic.
Warning, pictures of a dead guy in the link, source is usually pretty good.
Edit: Same story appeared in Post News. He died of wind.

I haven't been taking this virus very seriously at all on a personal level tbh. I've been looking at it as : "If i get it, i get it. Why worry?"
I haven't had one real moment where i've been concerned. Very unselfish of myself i thought.
But, i guess, maybe this glib attitude is selfish thinking in a way.
What i should be thinking about is taking care of myself for all the over 70's health, and the already sick, and vulnerable.
Taking care, and distancing yourself, for the sake of the struggling national health services.
I find it hard to do though when you are putting in a good days shift.
If i'm washing my hands all day, there's a danger my workmates will start to think i'm gay. (Not that there's anything wrong with that)
I ain't in management looking at the latest corona news on my phone ffs.
I'm a proper worker.
Peasch
P.S Happy days if Boris and the Irish government pays us 80% of salary if we get laid off nah?

"I don't care what the people are thinking, i ain't drunk i'm just drinking"
Getting a bit out of hand all this rumour and conjecture.
Is there a doctor aboard, say one that's been here for a very long time? I know there used to be.
If he still reads perhaps he could offer a professional opinion. Yes, you.

IN SIHANOUKVILLE:
...the Samudera supermarket shut today. Sign says "until further notice"... Nowhere to buy milk or cheese, hmmm. Is there anywhere else in SNKV that sells milk or cheese still open..? (Orange supermarket is long gone... Most Chinese supermarkets don't have anything but some junk food and one place has lentils, etc... or had, before...) Howabout in the city of PP? Are supermarkets open...? In Kampot? I don't have FB anymore, so... not following local threads...
The main public market is still open in SNKV, and was busy at 11:00 a.m.
What do you think? Will Cambodia function if they shut down wet-markets? I don't see how they can do that... (Methinks some farang will be turning on the spit pretty quick, if they do...)
Any opinions?
Keep safe! Get your vitamins! And quit SMOKING...

Update on SNKV:
Well, I was wrong, though the Samudera is shut, the Orange supermarket just opened up in an new iteration just a bit further down Ekareach not far past Twin Lotus on the way to the sea. But the boss, who speaks English doesn't know how long the government will allow him to keep open. Seeing as there are plenty of foreigners still here, probably for a while. Anyway, they do have cheese, bread, butter and such...
