Cambodia first country to receive 500,000 Covid-19 vaccines
Seriously would anybody here take that medicine if it was offered to you?

Nope, wouldn't trust a vaccine that had been rushed through.

#7. They will swallow your drug trial without question.

China is the country that distributes Fentanyl around the world to ruin people’s lives. China is the country where at least three viruses have now come from in recent years.
China lied about the virus I the first couple months, and arrested doctors and disappeared a few doctors who tried to warn the west. China stopped internal travel to stop the virus, but at the same time allowed travel from Wuhan to the west.
Seriously.... you will trust a a Covid vaccine made in China? ?
No Chinese vaccine for me,...... thanks anyways. I’ll wait for a western made Covid vaccine.
Considering the possibilities, if nothing else, it's a good mental exercise.
As far as a vaccine is concerned, weighed against the aforementioned, let me get back to you.
The Mossad just acquired a supply from China for Israel. They say it is because China has been on the case longer, and they are doing research.

Not completely accurate. $365mil U.S. under this initiative is for "Southeast Asia and the Pacific". It was unclear from the article if this is solely for ASEAN, or perhaps ASEAN plus Pacific islands (more likely). Still good for the country, but just clarifying that the exact amount under this program to Cambodia is unknown, as we're one of the smaller ASEAN nations, without a large Covid problem, other states will probably benefit more.
How many of the guys here who say they wouldn’t take the vaccine happily gulp down 25 cent zamagras made in shithole laboratories in India or China?
Just curious.
Just curious.
It'll be as useless as the annual flu-jab or the SAR vaccine (you know, the coronavirus that just disappeared & didn't need one).
If it were akin to a measles/smallpox vaccine, sure, why not.

Never taken anything like that so I'm not sure how to take that strange correlation.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 4:22 pmHow many of the guys here who say they wouldn’t take the vaccine happily gulp down 25 cent zamagras made in shithole laboratories in India or China?

If getting the vaccine will help life for me and others get more normal, more quickly, it wouldn't need to be very much safer than walking across Monivong at rush hour: sign me up.
Herd immunity is herd immunity. Unless you think a cull is good (Arguable, but you and yours go first.), widespread vaccination, at least for a few years, is a no brainer. Later, when we know more about efficacy, we have time to think again.
As I age into a risk group, I'll probably keep getting a COVID-19 jab each year, why not, but I probably won't care to much about it. Whenever they tell me my Tetanus shot is long overdue, I get that jab too. Call me stupid.

Not to say: Leave Cambodia and it'll be mandatory to return.Guest999 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 7:58 pmIf getting the vaccine will help life for me and others get more normal, more quickly, it wouldn't need to be very much safer than walking across Monivong at rush hour: sign me up.

Given the tightness of the current Covid-19 immigration options, I have zero doubt, the Cambodian government will be very, very strict about the jab. Not to say, I would not be surprised, when the jab would be given at entry, with a subsequent 14 days quarantine, as is now, at least for the upcoming 6 months.
Covax is a collective program implemented to fast track a vaccine and provide access for poorer nations around the world, and administered by WHO. Australia contributes to that fund along with other countries, including China, who have joined Covax. To say Australia is funding the Covax program in Cambodia is cheap reporting.Miguelito wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 2:47 pmNot completely accurate. $365mil U.S. under this initiative is for "Southeast Asia and the Pacific".
