Get some fucking health insurance. If you can’t afford it, go home. Do not rely on the kindness of strangers. Most of us aren’t that kind.
People don't last
Didn't you grow up in a council house? Paid for by the rest of us? What's that if it's not relying on the 'kindness of strangers'?
Let's ask ourselves some questions:
If he had insurance, would he have had a stroke? Would he not be sitting there imobile as he is now?
I knew someone here had a stroke a couple of years ago. He had insurance (he worked in the industry as it happens). After a couple of weeks of lying in hospital like a vegetable he was given the boot as his insurers had had enough. Friends had to return him to Thailand where he could be looked after a bit better.
Let's do some quick back-of-a-fag-packet maths here. Say Adam had a common or garden insurance policy at $250 pm. He's lived here 25 years. So that's $75k. He's asking for $15k. Which shitty bricks uni did you go to - paid for by the 'kindness of strangers' - that would have you calculate that's a good use of the 75k?
You really are bloody drip at times, Scobienz. A little more humility and a bit less smugness wouldn't do you the least bit of harm.
