Based on the situation of the epidemic in the community from-one-to-another, especially the "20 February Community Event" as of Samdech Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia informed the public, the Inter-ministerial committee to combat COVID-19 would like to inform about additional measures to increase the efficiency and speed of preventing and controlling the risk of spreading COVID-19, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications has developed a QR Code system "Stop COVID-19" that the public needs to scan the QR Code when he/she travels and enter-exit the locations of hotel, guesthouse, restaurant, canteen, entertainment venue, apartment, condominium, company, factory, enterprises, etc which have a crowd people.
This system will record the locatino of the person who logged in (a system that does not track the privacy of the individual) and make it easier to track down those contract tracings if that location is found COVID-19 positive case.
The Inter-ministerial committee to combat COVID-19 would like to advise the business owners, restaurant owners and the above-mentioned owners of crowded places to use the QR Code "Stop COVID-19" to get the QR Code to use, please go to "stopcovid.gov.kh" and click on "Request QR Code". Then fill in the information and click on "Request QR Code" and click on "Download" to get a QR Code to print and stick it in front of its entry-exit. Using this system does not require any expense.
The Inter-ministerial committee to combat COVID-19 also calls for the public to use the system together for health and for preventing the spread of the global pandemic.
