Call for foreigners to go get vaccinated
So you consider 1 or 2 adverse reactions from a 6M sample significant?

My second shot was 3 weeks after the first and now I read the vaccine is more effective if the time between shots is 8-12 weeks.
This may be why Israel is giving a 3rd shot 6 months after total population vaccinated, as cases there rising again.

No, they are not rising.

Here in Kingdom they want to give 2nd sinoshot 2 weeks after first.
Israel raising cases have something to do with Cambodia... or anything?Dylan Quint wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 4:37 pmThis may be why Israel is giving a 3rd shot 6 months after total population vaccinated, as cases there rising again.
Pardon my engrish, thanks you.
Apologies, posted on wrong thread.raendi wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 9:33 pmSecond shot of what, sputnik?Dylan Quint wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 4:37 pmMy second shot was 3 weeks after the first and now I read the vaccine is more effective if the time between shots is 8-12 weeks.

Friend also reported feeling shivery and achy like getting the flu - her symptoms came on within a couple of hours and she said she felt like she had a hangover when she woke up.
I hope I can get more be on. a Friday
You’re envious of us? Aren’t you in Australia or New Zealand, almost completely free to do whatever you want with next to zero cases?
I watched in awe as thousands of Aucklanders gathered at a concert in Western Springs this weekend. At first I thought it was from years ago.
Believe me: the world envies you.
Yes they're really doing a good job.

Someone needs to hold the leaders of France and Australia to account. Hopefully the US will impose sanctions to stop these monsters from targeting their own civilians. While I am a non interventionist, I do think there is a strong case for the US getting involved in Australia and France as the regimes in both countries have shown over and over that they do not care about human rights.
The post you have dredged up is 6 months old Fred.
A lot can change in 6 months.

Sorry for digging up an old thread, though this subject is closest to my Q:
Is there somewhere a location "overview" available, where Khmers (probably foreigners too) can go to get their Booster jabs ?
Not for me, but my family is just as stubborn as some old-farts on K440 and still not got their Boosters. The most often cited excuse is "I don't know where to go".

Indeed, the locations where booster shots are available are poorly published. I once saw a list of locations in Phnom Penh, but cannot find that anymore. One location often not mentioned but doing booster shots is Preah Ang Duong Hospital on the corner of Norodom and Street 118.
I wonder how long this will stay in effect:

Tldr Need to show vaccine card, more than 6 month after last shot? entry denied
I am not planning to take a booster shot. They are only effective for a short amount of time, I've recovered from Delta, Omnicron is milder than Delta.
Let them copy Spain. They basically run it like a flu outbreak. Monitoring hospital admissions but open up travel and economy. E.g. no lockdowns or forced quarantaine.

There is a big difference: Cambodia largely vaccinated with the inferior China vaccines, whereas Spain used the Western vaccines.Pooh Bear wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 1:01 pmI wonder how long this will stay in effect:

This implies that even Omicron will probably run like wildfire and create a lot of havoc in Cambodia.
Better get your booster. The past Delta recovery does not prevent you from getting seriously ill or dying from the Omicron variant.
Getting the booster, preferably the Pfizer, now available (there are reasons beyond freezer availability that Cambodia does obtain these now), will give a roughly 20 times reduced chance of dying. U2U.
OK, thanks. I also heard of Calmette being one of the locations.frigidaire wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 11:46 amIndeed, the locations where booster shots are available are poorly published. The big guy has lost his marbles. Just because a kid he knows has been tested positive we should vaccinate all of them? I am under the impression many nations are hesitant to vaccinate under 12 and for sure under 5.
Quote from the article:
"the PM expressed the hope that Cambodian children will avoid the catastrophe of health problems caused by 20 to 25 percent of children infected with COVID having to be put on ventilators."
Lol, that hasn't even happened anywhere in the world.... They hardly end up in hospital and the current wave is most likely Omicron passing by. So in a (few?) month(s) all might have peaked. Europe is easing restrictions across many nations.
