Yeah, though be aware, 20 people in a G550 is on (or maybe even over) the top. I'm not sure, if a flight-time of 6.5 hours can be accomplished with a G550 and 20 people on board. Though small Asians with little luggage might do.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 2:31 amThanks, sounds like it's not as expensive as I thought.

It would be interesting to look at the flight records for that day and find out who owned or chartered that private jet. Then again, forget it, it's Chinatown.v12 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 5:27 pmYeah, though be aware, 20 people in a G550 is on (or maybe even over) the top. Most of these private aircraft have registered themselves to be "forgotten" and anonymous on tracking sites. Unless you know pretty exact when the flight did arrive or depart an airport, you will not find it. And when you find the track, it does not have registered the origin and destination (though visible due to the track itself, provided the transponder is turned on), nor a flight number, nor the aircraft registration itself. And sometimes, not even the type is registered/visible.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 11:37 pmIt would be interesting to look at the flight records for that day and find out who owned or chartered that private jet. That's how it works.
On Feb 7, there were 3 private aircraft arriving at PNH, the G550, the hawker and another completely unidentified aircraft (even an unknown type). Both the G550 and the hawker, I remember to have seen arriving more often at PNH. The other unidentified type coming up from somewhere in China (starting roughly 300 km north-west of Guangzhou, when turning on their transponder).
Given, it did fly at 460 kts and did fly at 30000 ft, it's not a propeller aircraft, and it might have been a quite heavily loaded (heavy jet aircraft can not fly high). The one paying for the fuel did not seem to care about the fuel costs, though just wanted to press on with that load at high-speed, without seemingly following regular China air route corridors. Only once approaching/entering Vietnamese airspace, it started to "behave" and no longer fly in a straight line. Unless you are very powerful or military, you will not survive a flying behavior (straight track as well wo transponder) like that in China.
So yeah, that were big shots ........

does anyone else question.
why would they fly in Chinese ladies from Dubai for Chinese men to have fun with in Cambodia?
surely there must be some high priced lookers already in Cambodia
doesn't make sense

The more I hear about this and the continued silence from above suggests that this could well be a human trafficking racket.
Especially as Khmer women are far more beautiful than these insipid Chinese women.Phuket2006 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 10:21 amdoes anyone else question.

An obscure (and therefore kinda precious) comment. But, I don't want no trouble.
Can't think of her name or family, but she's top boss at Cambodian Red Cross. While remaining hidden in the background, she took strong steps in the past about morality issues, e.g. Piseth Pilika push bike purchases. I would expect she definitely will have a word with relevant Casino share holders and jet owners/charterers, particularly if rumours are true about family connections. Seems possible we'll never know.
V12 is quite skillfully accessing public records. Those at the top can just look at the actual airport books. That they know doesn't mean we will.
Vis a vis Covid procedures for VIP's (and 'friends'), I think things will be much less lax going forward, and that, actually, is the most important thing. (Also, pretty safe to assume that some serious wrist slaps have already occurred.)

It's less curious, once you know, how it works with rented private airplanes: Just like with cabs (before Grab, etc), these airplanes were always located at an airport, where the next renter does not want to depart. So, these private airplanes do fly a lot just "empty". With those "empty" legs, often people get given the opportunity to fly "for the cheap".Phuket2006 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 10:21 amdoes anyone else question.

So, it is really likely, the high-roller did rent a private airplane stationed (or just located at the moment) in Dubai, and gave instructions to pick up some people from Dubai, etc.
Combine that with Chinese ladies living in Dubai, having probably a more upscale lifestyle than those living in Cambodia or China, it's socially attractive to hire those ladies from Dubai. Let them fly into China on the empty leg and from there continue accompanying the paying high-roller to Cambodia. All legal and no risk to get detained by the Chinese government (an important item, when being rich in China).

ok, might be, lots of assumptions on ur part.
but "someone" assisted in them getting a visa to enter Cambodia>>
They surely didn't come to legally work for a legal business

Perhaps it wasn’t their first rodeo and years ago someone sponsored them a 3 year visa extension which Chinese passport holders can get.Phuket2006 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 8:25 pmbut "someone" assisted in them getting a visa to enter Cambodia>>

Unlikely, but possible. I agree that it’s more likely that whoever flew them in has the means to issue an employment letter to secure a visa.

Bringing the news. You stay classy, nas, Cambodia.
Yeah, that is how it works with VVIP traveling, though I do think, the wordings are pre-Covid-19 restrictions and reality has become a little more difficult.
