Could work both waysstarkmonster wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 3:14 pmMy theory is that about 1 in 10 people on this planet are a complete cunts. In normal circumstances they are not in a position to exhibit their cuntishness, it's either been beaten out of them at school, on in adulthood such behaviour has consequences, or generally holds them back and prevents them getting into positions of power or authority, but of course a few will always slip through the net (especially when nepotism is in play).
Then when you get a situation like this, and they are all effectively given a pass to exert power, suddenly they all come out of the woodwork. I think it's why Khmer Rouge / Nazi type situations get out of hand so quickly and to such an extreme degree. The cunts started steering the ship.

You can hike that 4% maybe even double for expats in Cambodia.

True that. Actually the usually lazy ones jumping to their feet in quiet street at the sound of my roaring engine made me slightly uncomfortable. That being said, the: “in case of doubt, step on the gas pedal” motto prevailed.starkmonster wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 3:14 pmMy theory is that about 1 in 10 people on this planet are a complete cunts. Obviously an attempt taken on a Wing and a prayer.

You are probably correct. Prisons, 3-world countries, and politics, are the gathering grounds of the dysfunctional, so Cambodia would have it's share, and then some.Barang_doa_slae wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 12:41 ambshw4kr wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 4:25 pmActually, the world is 96% safe. 4% are sociopaths.starkmonster wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 3:14 pmMy theory is that about 1 in 10 people on this planet are a complete cunts. If one has the wing app then it's as easy as punching in the code and the cash is on your app and can be used to send to ABA, pay bills, tuk tuks etc - there's been very little reason to visit wing to collect money for a few years now

Yes normally but for the past few weeks I have been dealing almost exclusively in cash.
Going to a wing agent has saved me a few times
This dude was in the yellow zone, which is vast, encompassing more than 50% of the city. Why the fuck did he want to enter an orange zone. Having said that, i and multiple family members have been getting out of the orange zone one a daily basis. Laughing by Cambodians is not necessarily because they think something is funny, it's often a response to an awkward situation, like someone being a twat.
