Two Chinese nationals were arrested in Koh Kong on Wednesday for illegally distributing Sinovac Covid-19 vaccines for L.Y.P Group, provincial Gendarmerie said on Thursday.
The arrest was led by Mr. Nuon Vutha, Deputy Commander of the Koh Kong Provincial Gendarmerie, coordinated by Mr. Eng Chanpheara, Deputy Prosecutor of the Provincial Court.
The suspects have been named as 53 year old Li Changqing and Huang Zhongwei. Both suspects are from Hubei, China. The police confiscated 65 bottles of Sinovac, 1 freezer, 1 needle, 45 syringes, 11 cotton swabs, 3 pairs of gloves, 3 bottles of ethanol and 1 car.
The men will be investigated and punished in accordance with the law.
