Phnom Penh City Hall orders trash to be separated for pickup
It will be interesting to see how this will work out in the next few days/weeks. Good start and i hope people will follow otherwise PP is heading for another Trash-on-the-Roads time.
Phnom Penh City Hall yesterday issued a guideline on solid waste management in Phnom Penh by ordering people to separate their garbage, otherwise it will not be collected.
The guideline stipulates that people should use only two types of garbage bags: black bags for wet garbage and white bags for dry garbage.

Meanwhile Kampot has some serious catch up to do Just outside the city limit/across the bridge this is the more traditional way of how most khmer get rid of their garbage. Throw it on a neighbors land.
New Trash Regulations in Phnom Penh
Some expats/tourists ought to be thrown out with the trash. I'm thinking the two Aarons!

Most of OP's threads belong in the white bags.

I have a lot different color bags what comes daily from various places, so now can't use these as garbage bags anymore and have to put in white waste bag
Good bag business for some well connected plastic bag factory owner.
Are these made in Cambodia or china?
Where can get black and white bags and what they cost?

The article specifically mentions construction waste.
Is this for commercial rubbish or household? I haven't seen any announcement. Good luck implementing this in built up areas where there is a stinking 'rubbish area' for entire housing blocks
