Cambodia - Reduced Quarantine on Arrival
Updated entry requirements table v.33 (graphic is shit, any way to upload a pdf.?)
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
Actually, the images itself are fine. The issue is, that the native resolution of the device displaying the image (as well as the allocated display size on the board) is lower than the resolution of the image. Moving to a PDF won't change that.
Creating a vector graphics (vs. the current bitmap) might improve the display, though only marginally.

V12, please translate what you said into Scoffer Speak as I did not understand any of what you said.v12 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 2:07 pmActually, the images itself are fine. If i gave you a stick of chalk and a black board, could you explain it better and draw me a picture ?

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Haha...made no sense to me either, I'm not very techolonogically savvy, but cheers anyway v12

OK, for the novice people:
IF you have 3 pixels next to each-other in the original image and that has to be scaled back to 2 pixels on the screen, how are you going to do that ? 1.5 pixels don't exist. The best option would be to do some kind of averaging on the intensity of the 3 pixels, spreading that over 2 pixels, though that'll be a blurry issue. Often, some intelligence is added, that not only the 3 adjacent pixels are considered, though also the surrounding pixels and the "averaging" can become a bit better, though still suffering.
Do that averaging over the whole image (horizontal and vertical) and you understand that from a fine suitable original hi-res quality, something more blurry will result.
This is, when the image is defined in pixels. You can recognize a pixel based image, by zooming in on the image. When you start getting all kinds of big (usually square) dots, it is a pixel based image.
However, you can also define images consisting of elements like lines, circles, etc. Even characters/fonts can be build accordingly (most fonts are vector graphics nowadays anyway, so scale pretty well).
Then you have an image based on vector graphics. And, when you scale such an image, you do not have the difficulty to scale 3 pixels to 2 pixels, though simply (for example) a line from position 1 to position 2. And how many pixels are between those positions is not relevant for the sharpness of the displayed image. When you zoom in on a vector graphics image, you won't start seeing big dots, but still see the original image elements, sharp.
Oh, and for pixel based images, there are some more relevant aspects like how much compression is done, what line "smoothing" is done, etc. That's another step to enhance......
Haha...cheers for the explanation
I was hoping I could just post ot as a pdf document which people could download and view.

WHEN you create the PDF in scratch from a Word document, where all the graphical elements are lines, etc, you might end up (depending on the PDF creator features), with a PDF document containing largely vector elements. Though that is certainly not guaranteed upfront. Or start from scratch with a genuine PDF editor and create all the graphic elements, etc. Then you effectively create a vector graphics page layout.
An alternative would be to generate an even higher resolution graphics as you currently have and, apart from the preview, provide the hi-res image as a download, for those wanting to dive into it.
The current main image is at the edge to provide a sufficiently sharp image. Better, you'll double the resolution, though that'll imply, you have to start from scratch. Sorry, what is not there, can not be created automatically.

I've made into a pdf. which is very clear, high res, just was trying to ask if there was a way to upload a file that people could download. People will just have to make do with the image I've posted I guess, I ain't trying to mess around with it anymore

I could read it fine. Creating a vector graphic is a great idea if you want to publish it at various sizes, however I believe PSD_Kiwi has other things to do other than fuck around on Adobe Illustrator for 3 hours.v12 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 2:07 pmActually, the images itself are fine. Upload on scribd and link it here. It will automatically embed.
Here’s an example:

Thank you Alexandra, that is exactly what I was looking for

Comparing the (image) resolution of what is shown in the Scribd PDF and the image stored on imgur, this does not seem to differ that much. The imgur image preview on K440 does suffer from the reduced resolution, though.
Way better when you open it in a new tab, or download it, and then zoom in... it becomes much clearer.
