Right, I'm glad we've sorted all that out and put it to bed. China is defo building a whopping great naval base in Cambodia. Some say it will also include a secret underground base (silver hat job)
What's next?
What's next?
Pretty accurate I’d say.
The US has military bases in 63 countries. China? Maybe a handful.

They seem to have missed the Chinese bases in the, so called, South China Sea like the Spratley's(soon to be the World Chinese Sea: Silk and Road: Djibouti etc) Or land bases like Tibet, Mongolia, Cambodia etc
Oh yeah, they aren't building military bases. They are to help the local fishing communities obtain their human rights. (Insert other ridulous Chinese lie).
The Chinese, as is typical, are going for gold whilst pretending they are only interested in the benefit to mankind.
This from 2017
String of Pearls / Overseas Military Bases
The ‘belt and road initiative’ is a strategy for setting up a string of regimes in states surrounding India and headed by strongmen financially beholden to China.
The PLA’s responsibilities today have gone beyond the scale of guarding the Chinese territories. The PLA must protect China's interests anywhere in the world. Overseas military bases will provide cutting-edge support for China to guard its growing overseas interests

In an editorial published 21 April 2017 marking the anniversary of China's navy, the official military outlet PLA Daily suggested that the nation needed six aircraft carriers, an enlarged marine corps and ten naval bases in friendly foreign nations. "In the long run, China needs to develop its own aircraft carrier battle teams, with at least six aircraft carriers, maritime forces led by guided missile destroyers, as well as attack submarines," said Xu Guangyu, a senior advisor to the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association. "China will build about ten more bases for the [carriers] . . . Hopefully, China could have bases in every continent, but that depends on countries which would like to cooperate with China."

What is that map supposed to show? There aren't any Chinese bases I know of in South Korea, Japan or Australia. It seems to correspond more with the US bases in the area.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

I suppose you do know that all the sea around Europe, Africa, India and America is called The English Sea. No, of course it isn't/wasn't. Even the English wouldn't be so egregiously arrogant and bursting with false pride to do that.
Plus, I am sick at all the Asians cheating everytime I play a game with them. Whether it be cards or tennis. It's really not a good sign for a world dominating power. The

Yes, I noticed that, but how is there a US base in China, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar?

I did the same as you, I clocked the locations before I noticed the flags on the icons.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 2:51 pmYes, I noticed that, but how is there a US base in China, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar?
I’m not sure what it is showing.
I think the jist of the image is US forces in countries not in North America at any time. It still holds true today than in the 60 and 70s.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 4:19 pmI did the same as you, I clocked the locations before I noticed the flags on the icons.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 2:51 pmYes, I noticed that, but how is there a US base in China, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar?

No, it’s called the English Channel, which is in Europe last time I checked. Britannia Rules the Waves, GREAT Britain?JollyBee wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 2:46 pmI suppose you do know that all the sea around Europe, Africa, India and America is called The English Sea. It’s ironic that the name South China Sea was actually created by the English and European settlers. In Chinese it’s 南海 meaning “South Sea”.
Have a word with yourself you flog.

"Chinese aggression"
The PRC, in contrast, has one international base, and it's in Djibouti.
On the Tiananmen Square Massacre that wasn't, one of (close Washington ally) Pinochet's diplomats certainly didn't see anything that the Western narrative suggests:

YTP tells it how it is. Not the brightest moment in Chinese history but definitely not the ridiculous propaganda almost everyone in the West believes uncritically.
