I wouldn't be too sure about that!Ladygaga wrote:im trying to put picture on a post too but i didnt know how to do it. But you can copy the link and view it on google.
I came, I argued, I'm out
Originally you managed to post a photo...I remember looking at it and thinking what a boxy tin-can cheap looking off-road(ha-ha)jeep rattling ugly motorbike-engine hunk of junk car is that!
Remember it was a photo of a white Suzuki Samurai...not dark blue as you are advertising yours...but perhaps I was mistaken?

I get tired of these photo demands.
If people were serrious about buying a car they would just go and have a bloody look.
The world is full of time wasters who pretend they want to buy a vehicle.
The samurai is actually a very good car and very tough.
You cant buy much in cambodia for 3k except for the outstanding little hyundai.

That's exactly what pictures are for. So you can have a 'look' at a car, or house, or whatever without having to trek right across town only to discover that you have wasted your time because the seller has totally misrepresented what they are selling (not that I am implying that this is the case with this particular seller).
Pictures allow you to make a quick initial assessment as to whether it's worthwhile making any further enquiries or not.
From the seller's point of view, pictures also minimise the number of time wasters turning up to view the car. A good series of pictures of the outside, interior, and engine compartment, together with a detailed description of the car will attract far more serious potential buyers.

Are you a sandwich short of a pick-nic? Youngwill says it best I guess
Probably because they don't have a decent set of pics to see if it is close to what they want.ken svay wrote: The world is full of time wasters who pretend they want to buy a vehicle.
Yeah phnom penh is so huge it is so difficult to get around.
Pics can be doctored and the only way to check out a car is to see it in the flesh and actually drive it.
Preferably to a garage where it can be put on a hoist and inspected properly.
You guys sound like the time wasters I was referring to.
Whoever bought a car from a photograph?

Well, in the UK, the eBay motors site sells about 400 cars a day, sight unseen, just from pictures. From cheap $100 cars on their last legs to cars costing over $30,000.ken svay wrote:Yeah phnom penh is so huge it is so difficult to get around.

Just like hundreds of thousands of people buy anything from houses to TVs, to computers every day from the internet, based on pictures and the descriptions.
Of course it's better to see the actual car, and I imagine everyone would want to see the car in a city like PP, but pictures act as a good initial filter, not to mention a selling aid for the seller.
Yes they can be doctored, but not much point really, as the potential buyer will quickly see the difference when he turns up to view the car.
Yes, from a seller's perspective, tyre kickers can be a pain, but personally I prefer a couple of time wasters in amongst the genuine buyers to having no one turn up at all.
Youngwill shoots KenSvay down in flames I have bought a house or two , just from viewing the pics , plus quite a few
cars and trucks . I am in the market for a Suzuki , but , no pic , not even going to bother .
