- Great bike for both on/off road use (I’ve ridden on trails smoother than some of Cambodia’s roads).
- Comes with lots of spare parts; piston + ring set, gasket set, sprocket set, etc... too many to list.
- Complete road kit; ignition switch, headlights, horn, etc…
- Starts first kick and glides over potholes.
- NO PLATE OR PAPERS (never caused a problem).
- NOTE: for sale, trade or part exchange… (USD 700)
- Available for viewing and test riding (bring passport/cash) at secure parking near street #172.
I am selling to buy a smaller bike (so that my dog can hop on easily).
(sorry I couldn't work out how to post the image so it would display without clicking on the link)

But in all seriousness, this would be a great beginner bike for someone. My first bike, at age 10 or 11, was a KDX 100. The abuse that thing took was unbelievable, and she'd always find a way to start and run. This would be a very tame bike that you could still have some fun on, and also good for a young teenager to learn on.
Might 'might' be willing to swap a 2014 smash v fi inexcellent condition (bought from new) 25k on the clock....

Really just not interested in buying a bike for 700 with no plate or tax. Never know when it's your unlucky day & the cops decide to take it away from you.
Looks like a pre-1989 as they were liquid cooled after that date.
To whoever said they're a good learner bike. No!
They are violent in their power delivery and could rev and accelerate way more than most riders have bottled it and eased off. 2 stroke nuttiness!

Well I learned on a KDX100 at an early age... I think when I was 10 and couldn't have weighed more than 80 pounds soaking wet! So I think that any teenager or adult should be able to manage with a KDX200.YaTingPom wrote: To whoever said they're a good learner bike. No!

A 200cc 2 stroke is not a learner bike.Miguelito wrote:Well I learned on a KDX100 at an early age... I think when I was 10 and couldn't have weighed more than 80 pounds soaking wet! When I was 15YO I got a Maico 500 MC (2stroke).
I was by no means an inexperienced rider at that time, already having 10 years of moto riding and racing experience.
With this in mind, I would not recommend a larger 2stroke as a beginners bike !
The nonlinear power delivery is brutal at the lower end.
Damn, I would love that bike here in Cambodia out in the provinces.

I bet you wished you still had the Maico 500!
I had a Bultaco 175cc...wish I still had it.
There's a 2T Honda CR250M for sale in SHV. A friend went to see it and he said the engine was toast - belching out smoke and sounding like it had a holed piston or crank. Guy said it was the crank seals!
It's still for sale. Awesome bike.
2T are very fragile, even the Vespa and Yam FSIe 50s were a pain, it the latter could do 60mph after a tune up.

Nope. Europe is forcing manufacturers to pass new laws, buy they've adapted by making them oil injected (or fuel injected). Next year's KTM lineup will be fuel injected. Beta's already pass the laws with oil injection (a la CRM250). Either way, two strokes will likely still have a place in the Enduro world in the next ten years at least. People love them for a reason... Lightweight, simple to work on and tons of fun. The Japanese gave up on two strokes several years ago, but after seeing the cash cow they were for KTM and other Euro manufacturers, Yamaha have come back last year by reintroducing the famed YZ. Rumours are in that Honda has one coming out next year...
As LexusSchmexus stated, 2 strokes have been saved by direct fuel injection (some "traditional" fuel inejction) for now. Re: Japan though, Japan held on to 2 strokes for a very long time (even as late as 06') in their domestic scooter market as a lot of Japanese (at least my crowd) love our smokey scooters.vladimir wrote:I heard they were phasing out 2-strokes in the States...
Re: OP's bike, it's not a bad bike for the money. Especially considering it comes with a nice piston a few spare goodies, hard to not call it a fair deal.
