Household Items for Charity
I don't want to give out any specifics in this post, but if you are looking to donate anything then I will of course let you know about the charity in question. With that said, this charity is in need of household items to do their work. In particular they are looking for;
Refrigerator (big)
Washing machine (hot water)
Furniture, like you might find in a surgery - easy to clean
but we will look at anything that may be useful
If you are looking to donate, that's fantastic. If you need a few dollars to make letting go a bit easier, we can talk. If you are a business, we may be able to offer a little payment in kind as this is a small but recognizable charity with international support, albeit financially limited, so we can put your logos around as a thank you with some nice Facebook posts etc.
This may be a step too far but they are also looking for a new home as they have simply grown out of their current place. They need a villa with land away from the centre of PP (maybe Meanchey area). The deal is, they need very a good deal. So if you know a way for a great cause to find a great home for less than $1,000 (ideally quite a bit less) then please let me know. If the place needs a bit of work, I can do a lot of the work to fix it up for you.
If you can help, please let me know.

Hi trolls, please leave this discussion there is nothing for you here. To anybody else reading you must understand that these guys don't have anything better to do. I would ask why they feel the need to quote everything that was said before in each new post as if we didn't know that these were replies to previous comments, BUT I don't care and more importantly I don't have time.
As a general reply, if you have nothing to give then, excuse me when I say, you have no interest or concern in this matter. If you would like to help on the other hand, you will know everything.
IF there are any unused items or even a run down property somewhere that could be put to better use, please contact me. Otherwise, thank you but good day.

^ Who does the PR for this worthy charity?
I think you might want to ask him or her to approach donors in future.
Asshat.
P.S.. I've got a chopstick I don't need. You collect.

I wouldn't give our specifics on here of the NGO I help - I don't really trust some posters not to stir. Mud sticks and could hurt the organisation in the future.chkwoot wrote:Why don't you want to give out any specifics in this post?AjammySammy wrote:I don't want to give out any specifics in this post, but if you are looking to donate anything then I will of course let you know about the charity in question. Then again, I'm not on here scrounging for support.
To the OP, it would be useful to know what type of NGO work is being supported (medical, health, educational, environmental etc.) You can give this out without really compromising anything.

Surely with all your experiences working in the real estate sector you would know where to find a villa and a few white goods for free on a foreclosure anyway?

You'll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
Without more transparency, you'll probably not get many donations from strangers. People who donate do so because it makes them feel good. That's their return on investment. Some get this feeling by plastering their good deeds all over Facebook and such, some are true altruists. But, you need to make people feel good throughout the process. Calling everyone a troll isn't going to work. I don't think you're off to a good start here.
Way too many scammers in Cambodia! Prove that you're not one of them and be nice, then you'll probably have more success. Good luck.
Bless (someone's gotta say it!)

The link isn't working. Are you and Raz still doing business?raz wrote:Just an update. Clammy Sammy and I are rocking and rolling. http://www.phnompenhproperty.net looks ordinary now but give it 4-6 months it will be a one stop shop.

This is exactly why Im not giving any details. Someone has taken this opportunity to go back over 3 years of old posts to try to smear turds all over this effort to do something useful.
If Admin sees this, please remove this thread. I dont want any bullshit Ive ever said to affect this charity. If someone decides to take this opportunity to troll them instead of me it would damage something good in PP.

Nobody is removing anything. Soliciting donations implies transparency. My guess is there would've been no trolling if you had been open and upfront in the first place rather than hiding the beneficiary's details to "protect" them. You brought this onto you all by yourself with your bizarre attitude.

Very well, it's just very discouraging. I wont engage in this thread anymore or this forum so no need to reply to this thread unless you want to continue among yourselves.
Please, don't kid yourselves - this is the age of Trump, if we can't agree that a spade is a spade then we're f--ked. I anticipated this negative reaction on this forum, which is why I didn't give any details. I'm not interested in crafting the perfect reply to slam you guys and "win" an online trolling session - I was genuinely trying to help someone. I asked for anyone else that wanted to genuinely help and what I received is what you see above.
