There are quite a few Quads and ATVs around, I see them in the city the odd time but I'm not sure how road-legal they are, there might be issues with getting plates. The shops on Sihanouk Boulevard between Olympic and Monivong are worth checking, you'll get the odd one along there but I haven't noticed many on 214 or that area west of Mondiale.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
I'm sure you can get road legal ones just not sure where, and I've Also seen some driving around with plates

All the quads up in Siem Reap that do the tours have plates.About 10 years ago the frog who started the first company said he had to pay taxes same as a car. They sat in a container in Thailand for months while he fought it.Storage there was 18K.Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to be bragging about his friendship with Prince Runaway.
Another frog had a business in PP that did tours down to the Southwest to the killing fields and even out as far as Tonle Batey. His were little Chinese pieces of junk. The most important thing to ALWAYS bring alone was a tow rope. His quads were shit but his girlfriend, with two different color eyes, was SMOKING.
In Siem Reap a female frog had some Chinese dune buggies. You guessed it! Junk! The last time I seen one it had been turned into a pizza oven.
My Khmer friend had 17 of the old jeeps at one time.Ask me to drive one for the jeep tours he was doing. The back wheels locked up in a turn when the rear diff rotated forward. Was hired for a movie shoot in BB.Before he got out of town three of the five broke down.No two alike.4wheel drive didn't work on any of them. The only ones I ever seen that were any good had the running gear replaced with Toyota parts.I would rather have a Tico.

Nigel at Woodys in Sihanoukville recently had a 200cc Chinese quad for sale. Was nearly new and reasonably priced. Not sure it is still available, but he may have others.
