Primus Air40 wind turbines made in USA - new and unused. 2 units available. See photos for specs. $800 each.
AIR 40 is the premier micro-wind turbine for land-based applications. It operates efficiently across a wide-range of wind speeds, providing energy for telecom, water pumping, lighting, SCADA, off-grid homes, or other low energy demand battery charging applications. The AIR 40 is ideal for pairing with solar to offset seasonal variation, delivering more consistent energy.
Advanced microprocessor technology for superior performance and high wind protection without mechanical braking.
Blades designed for quieter operation, durability and optimum energy capture in most wind speeds.
Lightweight design is simple and easy-to-install; integrated controller for plug-and-play operation
Pair with solar PV for redundant energy production year-round.
Produces 40 kWh of energy per month generating energy in a wide range of wind speeds

What are their life expectancy?
Before cabling costs it would take almost 9 years for them to produce free electricity if I added some to my solar hybrid system.

I had one on my sailboat to suppliment the solar panels but these type don't put out enough usable power for the winds that I have seen in the KOW. They will start turning in 7 mph or so but they are not putting out anything really usable to charge a 12v system until 20mph of sustained wind.
Here is the model I had made by Air Marine the same thing but made for a saltwater enviroment I paid $400.
If you are somewhere where you have consistant winds there are types and models of windmills that will supply power in lower wind like I have seen on the coast here, 6-11 narrow or wider blades, but these style, with narrow 3 blades, are made for much higher winds.

I never said they were not good machines. I used mine for over 15years without a problem, other than a broken blade due to a seagull flying into it.
Though they will spin at lower wind speeds they just are not putting out any amperage until at least 20 mph of sustained wind speed.
They are just not appropriate for the winds we have in the KOW.
I just don't like people to get ripped off especially when they can buy more appropriate or like you are selling for 1/2 the price.
As for not everyone living in PP there isn't anywhere in the KOW where this windmill would be appropriate

I guess if you mounted one on top of a building, or in the mountains, you could get decent output. Or at the beach/on a yacht
I don't think he's suggesting one could use them on Monivong, I think he 's suggesting beach/mountain/at sea locations

no not enough wind anywhere in the KOW on the coast the average wind speed isn't much above 4 meters/second or about 9 miles/hour like I said they don't even start producing usable energy until 20 mph.
